"Move", Ali hissed as soon as she came out of the slide," Police will be down in seconds at most."
Her friends looked at her in awe. But as they heard the team loudly discussing, the tree other teens decided it would be best to hide. And as Alistor stayed near the slide and her friends quickly looked for places to hide, in the full and messy room that was no problem, the girl quietly asked of her friends:"No matter what they do or say, please don't come out. None of you."
She didn't need the others to reply, she knew they would try their very best to do as she asked. Each and every one of the four would do whatever one of them asked, it was necessary for them.
Ali was right: Just a bit later, Padlock came down, followed by about half the team.
"This room is a single mess!", he complained in awe.
The man wasn't lying: There were shards of glass on the floor, metal trays, wires and syringes. So many other things, some could be seen at a hospital, a laboratory, a prison and there were lots of strange looking machines, some standing around, others were lying around, most seemed broken.
"What is all of this?", the officer asked cautiously, as him and his team started to carefully look around.
The girl didn't reply, she was tense. Any of the officers could find any of her friends at any given moment, and she was not well with that thought.
As Oliv turned to face the girl and ask his question again, he instead sighed and took out the handcuffs again. Out of reflex, the girl took a step back and pressed her lips together tightly, as her back bumped into the concrete wall.
"This would be a lot easier for all of us, if you would just cooperate", the policeman explained in a calm voice, as he carefully approached Ali.
The girl knew he was right, he would be able to do his job, she herself might be able to get out of them again quicker. Her friends wouldn't be provoked. But everything in her did not want to be cuffed again. Never again.
"Hey, it's ok", Padlock said carefully, as he saw that Ali was tearing up," it's just handcuffs. I promise you that you are safe with us, even if you wear them."
Before Alistor could reply, she saw Tae coming out of hiding. They were immediately circled by four policemen, their guns pointed at the teen, who slowly raised their hands.
Now the tears started to fall down Ali's face, as she asked:"What did I tell you?"
Padlock seemed to stop caring now, and as he roughly cuffed the girl, he ordered:"Search the whole room. There should be at least one more. Cuff the one with the red eyes."
Tae seemed oddly calm in contrast to Ali. As one of the officers started to ask about their name, age, how they knew Ali, and so on, they talked in a calm voice. Just minutes later, the couple stood next to each other, as the officers kept searching the room.
About half an hour later, they were done looking through the whole room once. Whilst Ali and Tae could see Taime and Ryth moving, none of the officers seemed to notice them.
"Where is the other one?", Oliv asked, he sounded angry.
Both white-haired teens stood quiet. It was silent for a few moments, until the officer snapped at Ali:"You lied. You said you didn't know them, you said Tae died, you said you were alone. You said you weren't the ones threatening the lives of those other teenagers!"
"So what?", the girl yelled back, her voice was breaking as more tears started to fall down her cheeks.
"Be a little more respectful. We have all the evidence we need to lock you up for a lifetime", Oliv threatened, as he stepped closer. Even Tae seemed to be tense now.
Alistor's voice dropped to a quiet growl, as she answered:"I want to protect my friends. They are the only family that would never leave me alone. What is so wrong about that?"
"You've lied to an officer and got all of you into even more trouble. Added to that is, that you will have to take a series of medical and psychical tests, so we can see how the experiments affected you", the officer snapped back.
Now Tae chimed in, pulling the attention from everyone in the room onto them, as they harshly laughed:"I- No. We don't have to do or take anything. If Alistor thought it was better to lie, she'll have had her reasons. And you cannot make us take any tests of any sort, if we refuse to take them."
"You'll see", Padlock snapped back, to which Tae replied calmly:"If you threaten my girlfriend one more time, I will gladly suck your soul out of your living body."
Just moments later, Ali wanted to punch someone.
"You can't do that, why do you always keep lying!", Taime complained, standing up from behind a broken monitor. The someone Ali wanted to punch, was him.
"It's called bluffing, and you are a complete Moron!", the teen with the red and blue eyes shot back.
Now Ryth chimed in too, leaving all the officers in complete awe:"You are both idiots, as soon as Alistor is out for a bit, you just completely lose any and all sense of intelligence!"
"Says you?", both Tae and Taime remarked at the same time.
Ryth wanted to give a cocky reply, as he noticed that, he too, now was very well visible.
"Right, wait", he slowly thought aloud.
"Please stop fighting guys", Ali begged quietly. She really seemed to be the one with the most common sense.
As Olive once again grabbed the girl by her upper arms, making her flinch and Tae growl quietly, the other three teenagers were to wait downstairs, until both Taime and Ryth had been cuffed too. Padlock led Alistor upstairs again and out of the cabin.
The girl was still crying quietly, as the officer fastened her seatbelt again. A few minutes after they drove off again, she seemed to calm down a bit, and as the officer looked at her through the mirror, he could see that she had gotten rid of the handcuffs again.
"Can your friends do that too?", the man asked cautiously, as he looked back at the street. The question startled the kid as much, as that she was flinching at the sounds of his word.
The man could hardly hear her, as she whispered:"No."
It went quiet again, until Ali asked:"When can I see them again?"
The officer laughed coldly and replied:"Behind bars today I guess. But we will not let any of you close to each other."
"Why?", the white haired girl sighed, she seemed really sad and maybe even heartbroken over that fact.
That gave the officer an idea, he now questioned:"What would you do, to see your friends again?"
