I think it's difficult sometimes to understand you don't have to be 'perfect'. Most people know they don't have to be 'perfect' we get told it a lot but I don't think we really understand it because to get the significance of those words "you don't have to be perfect" you have to have a certain level of not giving a fuck.
Striving for perfection is not a bad thing, wanting to be perfect and the best can be good.
I think the problem comes in when we set the bar of 'perfect' from someone else's view. I still do that and it's sad cos their 'perfect' is not my perfect.I don't think I'll ever be perfect. My perfect because I'm never not going to care what people think. If one day I do reach my perfect, the hardest truth that I will never hear, is that I don't think I will even realize I have.
