I walk down the hall until I find a door marked English history and I slowly open the door, but my late entry is foiled by the door creaking. "Late!" The teacher yells and I look up noticing it's a lady with red hair and glasses. She looks about 50. "Sorry, it's my first day.”

" First day or not you are late. Name?" I look at her annoyed then I notice everyone is looking at me, my face gets red with embarrassment. "Uhm, Blair Mavericks.." Then she tells me to take a seat. I look around and there is only one seat. It's by the Cade guy I just met, I head over and pull the seat out and sit down. "Yeah, better watch out for Mrs. Landon. She's a bitch. " He whispers and gives me a smile. I give him a small smile back. "No kidding. "

"So, what's your next class?" I look at him and reply "Uhm, Chemistry.."

"Mine too. Looks like you're stuck walking with me. " He gives me a wide grin.

After that I wait for this class to end. She doesn't talk about anything but what we are going to be doing this semester.

20 minutes later she dismisses the class, but tells me to stay afterwards. I internally groan. "Hey, i'll wait in the hallway for you. Good luck." He Winks and walks off, leaving me there blushing. I walk up to Mrs. Landon and wait for her to speak. “I read your transcripts and you have a lot of recommendations. You also have very good grades. Since you seem like a good student I’ll you off the hook for being late the first day. Don’t let it happen again.” Then she dismisses me with a wave of her hand.

I walk out the door only to be greeted by Cade leaning up against the side door. “Oh. Uh hi.” He just smiles at me and starts walking with me to our next class.

When we walk in the teacher looks at us and says “Nice of you to join us. Sit.”

“What’s up his ass?” I whisper then giggle at my own joke. “He’s always like that. You’ll get used to it. “Let’s hope, Why do I get all the shitty teachers.” That was more of a statement than a question.

We sit and talk about the periodic table then the teacher has a contest to see who can say the most elements. I gracefully win that and he says I can go early. “Praise the lord. I didn’t think I could take another minute of Chemistry.” I smile and start to walk out the door, but Cade calling my name stops me. I whip around to look at him. “What?” He smiles and says “Wanna sit with me at lunch?” I shrug and agree with a nod of my head. Lunch isn’t for an hour yet so I can go back to my apartment and take a quick nap.

20 minutes later I’m finally down the street from my apartment. “That took longer than expected. Now I only have 20 minutes for a nap. “ I grumble out loud. Then I look up and see my apartment. Finally. I stumble up the steps and pull my keys out. Jamming them in the keyhole then shoving the door open. I stumble in and toss my stuff on the floor by the door and head for the kitchen.

I grab a glass and fill it with water, then as I’m sipping on that I look through the cupboards for a snack. I grab a bag of chips and sprawl out on the blow up mattress scrolling through twitter.

All of the sudden I hear a loud thud and I shoot right up looking around for what fell. I stand up and go look through the house starting in the kitchen and then my room then the bathroom and so on. Not figuring out where the noise came from I sit back down on the mattress and continue to scroll favoriting as I go.

Then I hear it again except louder. This time I squeal and hop up back up against the boxes. I peek my head around the corner of the hallway and see nothing. By now I have goosebumps and the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Grabbing my phone and dialling 911 then holding my thumb just above the screen on the dial button I walk through the hallway ready to press it just in case its a intruder.

As I walk down the hallway I peek into the rooms as I pass them checking for anyone. Peeking into my room which is empty except for a few boxes unpacked I walk into it half expecting to find someone then as I turn around not seeing anyone I trip over something then I hear a hiss and low growling/purring sound. I look down and it’s a jet black cat.

My eyebrows furrow and I look at it confused. “How did you get in little guy?” I reach down to pet it and it backs away growling again. “Okay, so maybe I’m not as appealing as I thought.” Then I look around again and noticed some shoes on the floor. That was probably what fell. I turn back around to shoo the cat out but it’s gone.

I look out in the hallway and it isn’t there. I search the whole house and it has completely vanish. “What the fuck man.” Then I look down at my phone and realize I have been home for an hour.”Shit..” Lunch started 40 minutes ago. I head back into the living room and grab my stuff then head out the door locking it.

“I hope Cade doesn’t mind me being late..” With that I head down the sidewalk towards SU.

OKAY SO I hope you guys liked this chapter. Not much has happened yet but TRUST ME stuff is due to happen in the next couple chapters and it is gonna be great so keep reading babess!! I think this is the longest chapter yet. <33333
