1 YEAR LATER...

ALEXUS'S POV

I'm at the trap and money is coming in great, Ace and I are meeting up with a new supplier today. I still do not trust Corey because he is a little bit off but for the sake of Angelia I still have him breathing. "Boss lady what you got going on today" Ace said. Nothing man I'm probably going to visit king and take the rest of the day off. " you really have been working hard why don't you take the rest of the week off I can handle it I'll keep you updated" Ace explained. As good as that sound Ace I can't have no one else running my money but me I told him. I've been coming to the trap everyday now, I even fired the girls that count the money because I found out it was three of them that was stealing from me so I count my own money from now on. I even upgraded the trap now the trap is fire proof and bullet proof we've got cameras everywhere. We've even got a built in cell. Niggas have been trying me lately like I'm scared to go to war. I counted up my money and put it in the vault I haven't spent a cent sense I've taken over the trap I'm taking care King's mother from the beauty salon's money. I want king to come home and see how much I did whiles he was gone.

I pulled up to the hospital and went in, I'm sitting here talking to King as if this man can answer me back. I really do miss him but I have to suck it up whiles he's gone I know my baby is strong he is going to pull through. I kissed him and headed out I went to the mall to shop for some clothes. As I was shopping I noticed the same man from target about a year ago. He was watching me hard too. I wasn't scared though I didn't go any where without my strap. I went to the food court because I wanted some cookie dough. I sat down and ate it I watched as this man started to walk towards me I didn't fear him either because I knew if he tried anything I would put a hole in his head. "Can I have five minutes of your time" he asked. Make it quick because I have things to do I said with an attitude. "do you know Taylor Johnson" he asked. I looked at this man as if he was dumb. Yes that's my mom why I asked. " how old are you" he asked. I'm 19 why are you asking so much question man. " I'm your father isn't your name Alexus" he asked. Even if your my dad I have nothing to say to you my mother told me that you walked out on us when I was young I said to him. " No baby girl I got locked up when you were four a week before your birthday I told your mother do not bring you up there so I guess that's the story she told you" he explained. Wow I actually have a dad I don't know what to say. "where are you staying I knew your mother passed let me make up for all of the years I missed out" he said. I'm fine I live on my own we can exchange numbers and have lunch sometimes I said to him. He smiled and gave me his number. We talked for a little while longer before I left.

The first person I told was king I went to the hospital and sat next to his bed and told him how my day went. I laid on his chest and ended up dozing off to sleep. Couple hours had passed I woke up and didn't even realized I feel asleep. As I was about to head out King started coughing.

"Excuse me mam we need you to step out so we can assist him" I nodded and proceed to the waiting area. Lord please keep King I can't make it without him. I place my face in my hands and began to cry
