"Mr. Stark we have arrived in London," JARVIS'S voice came over the intercom.
"Thanks JARVIS!" Tony said. "I'll go get the others."
Thor was keeping an eye on Loki, so Tony knew he could save Thor for last. He'd get Steve first. Tony walked across the hall to Steve's room, and opened the door. He took two steps inside and stopped dead.
Steve and Bucky were standing in the middle of the room, kissing.
Tony desperately tried to come up with a witty comment, but couldn't think of one.
"Well then!" Tony said, annoyed that he couldn't come up with something better. Steve and Bucky jumped apart, wide-eyed glaring at Tony.
"You could have knocked!" Steve said.
"Why would I have knocked!?" Tony said/shrieked. "I didn't even know he was here!"
"I've been here," said Bucky. "But I'm not staying. I had to get to London, Steve said he was going to London. So, here I am."
"What are you going to do in London?" Tony asked.
"I live there now," Bucky replied. Tony raised his eyebrows.
"Yeah, I had to get away from Bucharest," Bucky continued. "As soon as I get home, I'm going grocery shopping."
It was Steve's turn to be confused. "Why don't you just take food from here?"
"Because this helicarrier doesn't have the one thing I want."
"Which is...?" Steve asked.
"Plums," Bucky replied.
Tony sighed. "Steve we need you. NOW. No more canoodling. I'm going to get Nat so she can get Clint."
Tony closed the door, and turned around to see Natasha standing right behind him, arms crossed, with a smug look on her face.
Tony jumped when he saw her. "How did you know I needed you?"
"I heard you saying it," she said.
"Your room is at the other end of the hall!"
"Vents," she said.
Tony took a deep breath. "Well come on, I need to get Barton."
She nodded, and they went next door. Natasha knocked on the door, and heard Clint's puppy go nuts. Clint was deaf—he wouldn't have been able to hear the knock. But he could see the puppy go off-the-rails crazy, and know someone was at the door.
Clint opened the door, and Natasha signed to him that they had landed in London. Clint nodded, and closed his door.
"He'll be out in a minute," Nat said to Tony. Tony nodded.
In the distance came the sound of heavy, pounding footsteps getting louder and louder, until Tony saw Thor come hurtling around the corner, panting. He ran smack into Tony, who looked startled and grabbed him by his shoulders.
"Hey, hey, Pointbreak! What is it?"
"I can't find Loki!" Thor muttered.
"WHAT!?" Tony and Natasha said simultaneously. At that moment, Clint came back out of his room, and looked at Nat quizzically. Nat quickly signed to him what Thor had said.
"WhAt!?" Clint yelled. His voice was slurred and hard to understand, so he normally didn't use it. It took a lot to make Clint actually talk.
"He isn't in his room," Thor said through gritted teeth. He then said an unprintable word, and stuck his hand out into nothing, with an intense look on his face.
Tony glanced at Nat. Nat glanced at Tony. They both looked back at Thor. Distant crashing sounds could be heard from the other end of the ship.
"That doesn't sound good," Natasha said, with a worried look on her face.
A whirring sound was briefly heard, before Mjolnir came flying through the air and straight into Thor's hand.
"That was SO overly dramatic!" Tony said.
"We need to find Loki. Right now," Thor said.
"I thought you were keeping an eye on him!" Tony said, exasperated.
"I was. I turned around for a second, and he was gone."
"You had ONE JOB! Now we have to find Loki, AND Strange. Fury's gonna kill you."
"He wouldn't DARE attack the God of Thunder!" Thor yelled, lightning crackling from his hammer."
"It's a METAPHOR!" Tony yelled back.
"A metaphor for what?" Thor asked.
Tony sighed. "We better start looking for him," he said. "STEVE! A*S. HERE. NOW!"
"He's on his way!" A muffled voice yelled from down the hall.
"Language!" Came another voice.
Tony just sighed.
Two sets of footsteps could be heard running down the hall, and a moment later, Steve and Bucky appeared.
"What is it?" Steve asked.
"Thunder over here misplaced his brother," Tony said.
Steve looked at Thor alarmed. He then looked at Bucky. "I have to go," he said.
"Bine. Te iubesc," Bucky said, and Steve blushed.
"I didn't know you spoke Romanian," Natasha said.
"I taught him," Bucky said with a proud look on his face.
"I'M LEAVING NOW!" Tony yelled, as he turned and walked out. He had no idea what lay ahead.
I don't ship Steve and Bucky in the movies, but anything else is fair game. Hope you enjoyed! Please vote.
