Chapter 8: The Battle Against Animaestro

Flashback:

Shortly after defeating Despair Bear along with Chloe, Chat Noir approaches Ladybug. He asks, "Ladybug, about Queen Bee..." Ladybug replies, "What about her? She was excellent in defeating the villain today. I guess I'll admit, I underestimated her." "No it's not that. In my civilian form, I know Chloe very well. So I think it's best if I could hold onto the bee miraculous, then I can give it to her whenever there's a villain nearby." "But kitty, that would jeopardise your identity." "Trust me, I'll make sure it doesn't. Please just tell Master Fu about this, you can trust me." Ladybug nods and agrees, giving the bee miraculous to Chat Noir.

Now:

Adrien tells Chloe, "I have to say, dinner was amazing! You really do have the best chefs at your hotel." Chloe replies, "Oh Adrikins, wait till we have dessert!"

All of a sudden, Animaestro enters the room. He exclaims, "You really doubted me as a popular director? Now you'll face the pain of real animation!" Animaestro turns into a giant cartoon ogre, then starts to break everything in the room. Chloe shouts to him, "Were you even invited? Quit wrecking the elite decorations in here!" This makes the villain angrier, as he rushes towards her. However, Adrien grabs her and escapes out of the room.

The two run out of the hotel and Adrien instructs Chloe, "Hide behind that signboard, I'll be with you in a second." He then goes off and transforms into Chat Noir. Chat Noir goes up to Chloe, "Chloe, we need your help again to defeat a villain. Will you join me?" "Gladly! But my Adrikins will be looking for me." "Don't worry, I took him somewhere else close by." Chloe then transforms into Queen Bee.

Animaestro has now transformed into a large cartoon dinosaur, and he fires beams of energy at everything. Chat Noir and Queen Bee rush up to him, and confront the villain. Queen Bee exclaims, "Give it up dino guy, you have no chance against Queen Bee!" Animaestro is again angered, and attacks the two heroes.

Chat Noir tells Queen Bee, "We need a plan. We should make him transform into something smaller, then we can see the akumatized object." Queen Bee nods, then starts to run into an alleyway. Animaestro chases her, but his size is too large, so he transforms into a cartoon ninja. He strikes at her with a sword, shaped like a pen. Chat Noir sees this and cataclysms the pen-sword, releasing the akuma. Queen Bee immediately uses venom and stops the akuma mid-air.

Later, Chat Noir and Queen Bee stand in front of the hotel. Ladybug shows up, "Where's the villain?" Queen Bee replies, "We already defeated him before you came." "What about the akuma? It needs to be de-evilized!" "Oh here you go. I used venom on it, so it's just frozen." Queen Bee hands Ladybug the akuma, then it gets de-evilized. Ladybug then realises, how important Queen Bee is for the team.
