"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people's thinking."

"Can we take a pumpkin pie please!?" I beg Molly Weasley and the woman laughs, nodding.
"Yes of course deary." She beams rushing to bring one of the uneaten pumpkin pies over.
"Alexa?" My dad ponders wondering what I was doing.
"Hey dad!" I beam, struggling to place the pie in a bag as I walked outside to meet him so we could head home.
He gives me a weirded out look when he sees the pie in my hands.
"These pies are rumoured to be amazing!" I whisper at him. "Let's leave before someone takes it!!!!" I grab his hand and try to escape but Sydney walks over, planting a kiss on the top of my head.
"They're like heaven. I can confirm." She agrees, grinning at me. Her grin falls slightly when she sees Snape glaring at her.
"You're nothing like your younger sister Ms.Brown." Snape muses and Sydney glares at him.
"I've apologized multiple times Severus. No need to be hostile in front of Alexa." She snaps. Snape's gaze lowers down to see my confused one and his glare eases into an unemotional look of displeasure.
"Alexa. Albus has requested my presence." Snape ignores Sydney completely and my brow furrows in concern.
I move away from Sydney's embrace only to walk over to my dad so we talk more properly.
"Is this about the undercover thing?" I whisper at him and he eyes me slightly, nodding. I could see the relief in his eyes at the fact that I knew about his double life.
I sigh. "Are you travelling to see Voldemort?" I ask him and his lips purse before he grabs my shoulder and leads us to a secure place where no one could listen in or see.
He unsheathes his robes upwards and shows me the death mark on his arm. My eyes widen and I notice how potent the colouring was.
"So Voldemort seriously calls you all over using this thing?" I muse, eyeing the mark analyzing every aspect of it. "It's actually kind of badass," I mumble and Snape looks at me with a weird look. "I want a tattoo like that." I grumble.
"Pardon? Badass?" He asks and I grin in amusement.
"It means it's cool." I chuckle, making Snape roll his eyes at me. "It's a dark colour. That means he's nearing full strength." I point out and Snape looked stunned.
"It's frightening how much knowledge you have." He admits and I shrug.
"I'm an open book. I'll tell you anything and everything you want. You're one of the people in this timeline that I irrevocably and truly trust." I smile at him and the gratitude that shined in his eyes makes my heart hurt for him.
