Chapter Three

I can smell the cheap booze already sometimes I regret receiving powers from Kurama my sense of smell and hearing are 10x stronger than an average human.

We didn't know at the time but when I first met Kurama he had healed me with his chakra but ended up transferring some of his power to me it was one of the most terrifying moments of my life waking up the next morning and finding fluffy ears and a tail attached to me

"hahaha, you started screaming like a little girl" Kurama roared with laughter after reading my thoughts.

"I did not, and if I did it wasn't girly it was a manly scream," I say trying to hide my shame I know he will never let it go, I can already feel a depressing aura surrounding me getting me weird looks from our client and a worried one from Kakashi

Kurama finally calmed down "don't get depressed Kit, your worry your mate. I'm glad it happened just another step in becoming stronger" Kurama says still chuckling.

FLASHBACK

Morning light shined through my window waking me up. I start feeling slightly depressed thinking last night's conversation with Kurama with a dream. Hearing a quiet purr in my mind and hoping I wasn't hearing things I quickly went into my mindset following Kuramas instruction on how to enter, opening my eyes and seeing a giant fox sleeping in a cage I let out a loud whoop jumping around throwing my fist in the air before freezing, feeling a slightly threatening aura behind me I quickly turn to see Kurama glaring at me before suddenly looking shocked.

"What happened to you"

"what do you mean?" I ask confused feeling my face to see if there was anything there

"Why do you have fox ears and a tail," he asked bemused it took a few seconds to register what he said

"WAIT WHAT" I yell looking down at my reflection in the water

I saw that I had two fluffy blond fox ears, on the top of my head, turning around I stop and see a big fluffy tail, finally grabbing hold of the tail I try pulling it off

"Aaah it hurts, it's real, I have a tail" I yell before I let out a loud high pitch scream.

Still freaking out I hear laughter turning to the source, I found Kurama rolling on the floor laughter pounding his fist on the ground

"HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA kit your face I didn't know humans could reach that high of a pitch," Kurama says

FLASHBACK END

After getting ourselves under control we tried figuring out what happened. At first, I was a bit excited till I realized the difficulties that came with my new upgrade, It turns out that I didn't just get the features of a fox adding my heightened senses I also found out that I can go into heat luckily it's only happened once so far, thankfully I had Kurama with me to get through it, he helped keep me calm, focus and taught me how to handle the pressure when my heat got really bad because I'm getting older my heats are going to be more intense till I find my mate to ground me.

We narrowed my candidates down to four people Kakashi Hatake, Asuma Sarutobi, Ibiki Morino, and Iruka Umino all males are strong and carry a dominant scent which I need in a mate.

Being a submissive creature I need someone to calm me, protect me, love me, and stand by me. Gathering intel on all four men we narrowed it down to two, Iruka is more an older brother figure to me, Asuma is to laid back he wouldn't be able to handle me in my feral state, that leaves two.
