"Dad!" I hear Roman call for me from my office. "Yes Roman?" Roman walks down the stairs with a document in his hands he looks confused he hands it to me. "What is this. It says my name on it." I look down at the paper Roman handed me Shit it's his adoption papers. "Um well Roman. Let's sit down." We sit in the couch together. "Roman. You're adopted." I look at my six year old son whose sitting next to me. Roman looks at me "what's that?" I sighed thinking of the best way to explain adoption "well I really wanted to be a dad. And there were people you didn't want to be a dad or a mom. So those people gave you to me when you were born." That's all I could think to say I try not to mention his mom she came back after our break and left a year later. Roman looked up at me "so you're not my real daddy?" I look at Roman "Technically not. Are you okay with that?" Roman nodded in response to my question. "I laid your clothes on your bed. Go get dressed Virgil and Patton are coming over." Roman stood up and went to his room to get dressed. Today is June 2nd on this exact day four years ago Luka left me and Amy passed away. Patton and I make sure to spend the day with each other every year. It's a hard day for me but it's especially hard for him.

🐶🐶🐶Patton's POV🐶🐶🐶
I look at my watch it's time to head over to Logan's house. I get Virgil ready and in the car and get into the driver seat myself and start driving to Logan's house once we arrive I grab Virgil and walk inside of the house I don't even knock anymore. "Greetings Patton and Virgil." I hear Logan greet us from the kitchen "Hi Lo" I respond "Hi Logan" Virgil says. Roman runs downstairs and hugs Virgil. Virgil giggles and the two of them run upstairs to go play. I look at Logan who's cooking casserole"You didn't have to Logan we could've ordered Pizza." I set my stuff on the counter. "I know how much you loved Amy's casserole and I found the recipe in the cookbook she gave me."

👓👓👓Logan's POV👓👓👓
I turn to look at Patton this is the first time he's come over on this day and not had red and puffy eyes. "How are you feeling?" I ask him "Better than last year. It still hurts a lot. How are you?" He asked me "I'm pretty good. Roman found his adoption papers this morning. I had to explain what adoption is." I explained to Patton I turned back around to put the casserole in the oven. Patton nodded "Wanna watch Disney movies!?" I smiled at Patton's question Disney movies are part of the routine. I nod and we sit on the couch and watch movies together.

🌩🌩🌩Virgil's POV🌩🌩🌩
Roman and I were playing Princes and Villains. Roman was the prince and I was the villain. We were running around and making our own songs for our game when we heard the first song in The Nightmare Before Christmas. We ran downstairs "You started with out us!" Roman shouted at our dads. Pa looked at Roman and I and chuckled "we figured you boys were busy playing." He told us "We're never to busy for Disney!" I shouted. Logan smiled at us "Come sit down boys" we sat in between Pa and Logan and watched the movie.

The oven dinged I got up and took the casserole ready. "Boys go wash your hands." Patton told our sons. They went to the bathroom washed their hands and sat at the table. Patton also sat down. I handed everyone their plates and we began eating. As Patton was eating he excused himself and went to the bathroom. I told the boys to stay and followed Patton I heard sobbing from outside the door. I slowly opened it and walked in. "Hey Pat." I sat next to Patton whom was sitting in the ground. "Hi Lo." He leaned his head on my shoulder as he sobbed. "My apologies for making the casserole Patton I thought it would be good for you to reminisce." I looked at Patton. Patton sighed "it's not that Logan. I was just thinking about how Virgil won't know his mother." I nodded in conclusion to Patton's statement. "Well you'll always be able to tell him everything he needs to know about her." I said trying to reassure him. Patton nodded.
