Breakfast was nothing less than fantastic. Jeongyeon definitely inherited the cooking gene from her father. What surprised me the most was that this was likely her first time making this stuff and she did better than I would have after years of experience. These girls really are magical or something.
While we were at the table nothing eventful happened. We talked only rarely as half of them could barely be considered awake and the other half was chowing down. It was nice though, this type of relaxed atmosphere. It was a peaceful quiet. Something I had yet to experience with them.
Well, I suppose one thing did happen. Tzuyu kept looking up at me. Why? I can't pinpoint it. The look in her eyes when she looked at me wasn't embarrassment like one would think. Nor was it disgust. And I didn't sense much tension from her side either. So why did she glance at me so often? A part of me wanted to ask. The other part was too scared, hesitant, and embarrassed too.
That's all I can report from breakfast though. Afterward, all the girls went to their rooms to get ready for the day. And that left me all alone... all alone with Tzuyu as she was the only one who was actually ready for the day. So that was great...
Well, if I was going to ask why she couldn't help but peak up at me all morning then there would be no better time than now. So I took a deep breath and decided to be bold.
"Hey Tzuyu," I said shakily. Too much for being bold.
She looked over to me from her place by the window, "Hm..?"
I cleared my throat and my mind and stated, "I couldn't help but notice you looking my way at breakfast."
She giggled, "What about it?" She said this in a teasing/playful manner.
"Why was that? The shower mishap?"
Once again she slightly laughed, "Ah you don't remember, do you? Can't say I'm surprised. You have pretty bad alcohol tolerance, you know that?"
I looked her way, confused as to what she was getting at. But she just stood there with an innocent look on her face as she looked out the window at the buildings, streets, and trees. She looked so beautiful just standing there. Like a princess or an illustration. I must be dreaming or something.
Hesitantly I asked her, "W-What did I do or say?"
Before she answered she gave me a look, the type of look that you can clearly read. It was a look of confirmation that I wanted to know what she was about to say. However, she didn't seem to be bothered, Tzuyu made it feel like she was simply looking out for me. I gave her a nod. She sighed and relaxed her expression.
"Oh just that you wish you could date all of us. And that you used to read fanfictions of us... Not that I mind very much though, stuff like that has piqued my interest before as well. However, I have the suspicion that you didn't read it for curiosities sake and instead to... I don't know... live out your fantasies or something," she nonchalantly responded.
"Holy shit..." I whispered in panic. My brain went into overdrive. Why would I ever say such a thing? How did that come up? Who else remembers? Oh god, I'm screwed.
Tzuyu walked over to me and patted me on the head. She leaned down close to me and brushed her lips against my ear, "Don't worry, I don't think anyone else remembers. They were all really drunk. Your secret is safe with me, (Y/N)."
I gave her a tight embrace and whispered in her ear, "Thank you and I'm sorry for saying that."
"Don't be, you were wasted," she giggled, "But I guess that's when the real truth comes out, huh? Honestly, you're lucky you don't remember last night."
