RASHID
Outside the city chaos in the silent placed Masjid, hundreds of praying in the green and freshly cut grass garden, under the bright morning sun which is surrounded by the walls of the Masjid. During the prayer- "Abbu, look..." a small boy amusingly pointing his small finger towards the sky like he saw some kind of a remote-control toy. "Run, every-body, exit the place..." his father shouted in terrorizing, his eyes wide open gazing towards the sky like he just panicked and his feet stuck to the ground while the rest of the stampede to save their life. "Abbu, Abbu..." small boy while pulling his father's hand. His father came in conscious and docked his little son and ran towards the exit of the Masjid.
"This is flight 342, We have been hit... I repeat we have been hit."— Captain alarming
"Flight 342, Coming over..."— Nearby ATC
"We have 270 people on board, our left-wing engines have been hit by some kind of a missile. I repeat ATC, our right-wing engines are down- we have to make an emergency landing."— The captain said in trepidation.
"We have cleared the runway for you flight 342, Can you make it? — ATC
"Altitude is dropping. We are going down; I repeat we are going down."
"Mayday... Mayday..." and the voice broke.
"Flight 342 over, flight 342..." repeatedly by ATC but there was no answer.
The airplane with 270 people on board crashed into the Masjid which was outside the city where numerous of them were worshipping. The nose of the plane just thrashed into the tomb, knocking down everything in between. The whole monument was crumbled into the pieces along with the plane and the people in it.
"Everybody calms down." said the manager over the speakers in the hall, "That was just the training exercise, above the floor. Everything is fine, everything is under control. All can commence their work now. Thank You!"
Rashid in an indignant manner said, "I did not sign for all this."
"Relax, they said that it was the training exercise," Dev said while wearing the headphones and then he continued his work.
Rashid says "Ya right, they said. Like I believe what they all say." disagreeing with a sarcastic smile.
It was half-past seven, time for another shift. Everyone departs, "Hey any plans for tonight?" Rashid asked.
"No, not much" buckled his backpack and left- "But I know what will be yours, Buddy," Dev replied. "Hmm, Ya you do, you always do," Rashid said in a smear self.
Rashid packed all his stuff and left the hall. Moving from one door to another, attached corridors with the bright white light all over it like it's two in the noon. Rashid reached his pod "This thing still gives me chills." and entered it. He teleported to the station; the train was on the platform about to depart. Rashid was on stairs and started running, "Ohh, please wait- Not this time, not this time..." Train doors were about to shut, Kyra cheered "Come-on run, run you can do it." blocking the doors to shut. Trains started moving slowly but Rashid seized the handle and jumped into the train.
"Huh, you made it." Kyra astonishingly while outreaching her coach.
Rashid easing off and said, "Thanks, for holding the door."
Kyra looked back while walking from the alley and smiled, "No worries." She wore her headphones and entered her compartment.
Rashid outreached his compartment and pulled his laptop out from the bag. He pulls out a silver ring from his left hand and holds onto the laptop corner, the ring starts blinking. Rashid accessing folders and attentively looking at the compartment door like he doesn't want anyone to find out what he is up to. "Decryption phase Complete, please wait for the synchronization process."— some kind of AI from the laptop.
"Come on, Come on." Rashid in apprehension.
"Synchronization process complete."— the system beeps and blinks
"Ohh, Okay- Let's see, where is it, where..." Rashid was trying to find something. He got access there was some kind of an old video.
"Hello, if anyone of you is watching this it means you have survived the war." A wounded man in a dark room on the sofa, but the red flame light is gleaming from his window even though there is a cover on it.
"My name is David Parker, I was in marines,
"The government is hiding something from us, something huge," the man sighs- "This war is completely imitated, we cannot just trust anyone and most primarily..." Before he completes the phrase, a loud bang hits the and screen flashed video ends. Rashid traumatizes and presses the power button and the holographic screen of the laptop display cuts off. Smearing sweat moving from his head to the face, Rashid wipes out and lays back to his seat sighing in fear and foreboding looking outside the window.
Rashid did not properly sleep last night; his mind was recurring all those things.
Rashid is having his morning meal in the cafeteria, with his mother and older brother. "What happened Rashid? Last night also you were mumbling something in your sleep, is everything alright?" looking him tensed, his brother asked. "Yes, I am fine," Rashid replied.
"You can talk to us about anything, you know that right Rashid." His mom says. Rashid incuriously leaves the table and lays onto the railing of the cafeteria. He was tense.
"Don't worry Ma, I'll talk to him." Rashid's brother said to his mother.
"Hey, What's the matter huh? Why are you being so weird today?" Rashid's brother asked him.
Four to five guards inquiring about something on the down floor, Rashid saw that. "Okay, listen to brother- I think it's time. They are looking for me..." Pointing to the guards Rashid said.
"Remember what father told us before they took him?" Rashid questions.
"Yeh, I do." Rashid's brother replied confusingly. "But why the guards are looking for you, what happened Rashid."
"No time- for that, What the father was about to tell us," Rashid said,
"Yes." Rashid's brother interrupting. "That was all true, every single thing was."— Rashid.
"Citizen 744, Mr. Rashid Khan, you've been summoned."— The Guard.
"Take all his belongings, including his band." One guard to another
"But, Why, where are you taking my brother?" Rashid's brother requested the guard.
"Sir, please step back."— Guard warned.
"No, no brother relax,
take care of the mother, tell her I love her- and I'll be back soon. There is nothing to worry about." Rashid said in comforting his brother.
Locking the laser handcuffs and with a wicked smile, the guard said- "Ya I don't think so, Son- Well that's not gonna happen for you soon, move now." guard pushed him.
