Your POV

I sat on the park bench, breathing heavier than usual. I had just finished my two mile jog and felt kinda proud.

I looked around, there were kids having fun playing in the playground area, people taking their morning walks, and some couples, apparantly having a good time.

I noticed a woman sitting on the opposite side of the bench, engaged reading her book. I chuckled when I realised it was Harry Potter, probably the second part.

"A fan?" I smiled. She looked at me in confusion for a moment and then giggled when she realised what I was talking about.

"Yeah, I recently started watching the movies, and someone told me the movies were just about twenty percent of what was in the original books so I went on to buy the whole thing and then started reading And I found it really interesting so I kept on and on and-" She stopped talking and her eyes widened, she'd probably realised she was talking too much, and it made me laugh, and she gave me an awkward smile.

"Go on." I said with a smile.

"Well, yeah I'm... I'm on the third book now..." She smiled "...as you can probably see" She showed me the book and handed it over to me.

"Yeah I've read all of them probably ten times." I said giving the book back to her.

"I'm planning to do that too." She said, and I responded with a nod.

"Demi, nice to meet you." The woman said, putting her hand forward, which I held, giving her a handshake.

We exchanged names after which Demi quietly went back to reading her book. She was so focused on reading that she didn't feel my gaze on her. I took advantage of her concentration to admire how beautiful she was. The brunette looked stunning even in the comfort wear she was in. From what I'd seen, she had brown eyes and her freckles looked so freakin adorable. I smiled to myself, which made her look at me again.

"What?" She arched her eyebrows.

"Would you want me to uh... Tell you more about Harry potter over a drink?" I smirked, which made her look towards the ground. Was she blushing? I giggled.

"It's okay I'm only joking." I said, which made her look back up, smiling like she had been the whole time.

"Actually uhm... I don't drink, I've been sober for a year now..." She smiled sadly, which made me regret what I'd said. "... But a date would be good." She said, which took me by surprise. She laughed at me, which made me smile and let out a sigh of relief.

"Hm... Saturday night, right here on this bench." She said after a moment of thought, and got up to walk away as I chuckled and shook my head .
