I was woken by a ringing.

,,Who's that now?" I said, rolling out of bed in agony.

I went to the front door and opened it.

,,Hey, Ashton." I saw my ex, Bryana, standing outside the door.

We still get along pretty well, but why is she here?

,,Oh hey, what are you doing here, Bry?" I asked her and went through all the possible reasons.

,,Since I know you're going on tour tomorrow, I thought I'd stop by and see you first. I hope that's okay. I mean, the last time I was with you was over a year and a half ago." She said, coyly stroking a strand behind her ear.

,,Yeah, sure, come on in." I said, stepping back to let her in.

,,Sorry for the mess." I said, looking at her with a wry smile.

,,It's okay. I'm used to much worse." She laughed and sat on the couch.

,,May I?" She asked and pointed to the couch.

,,Sure." I said, and sat down next to her.

When I'm honest, I feel a little uncomfortable sitting next to her.
You know, when you've had good times with someone you loved and then you break up or something and then you sit on a couch together...

,,You okay?" She asked me and I flinched for a second.

,,Yeah, yeah, it's okay." I said and swallowed.

,,You still feel uncomfortable right?" She asked and tilting her head.

,,Yes... but I'm not sure why." I said, leaning against the back of the couch in frustration.

,,Oh, Ash, it's only natural. I'm not here to do anything stupid, I'm here to wish you a good time."

She said and smiled at me.

,,Okay, you wanna watch TV or take a walk?" I asked and looked at her waiting.

,,Watching TV doesn't sound so bad." She said and slid back a little more.

,,Okay, let's watch TV." I said, grabbing the remote and turning on the TV.

I got tired at some point and fell asleep.

I woke up after I was quite cold.

I turned my head and saw that I was sitting alone on the couch.

The TV was off and it was quiet.

,,Bry, you still here?" I asked and sat up.

No answer.

I looked at the table in front of the couch and saw a note.

I picked it up and had to smile for a second.

I got up and went back into the bedroom and lay down again.

And if you think, why do I sleep all the time: I'm going to get half the sleep for the next few months, so I'm working it all out.
