I watched her walked and an idea popped inside my head and swiftly grab the hand of the princess who was caught of guard.
I run outside towards the tree as I was still holding the soft delicate hand of the princess. Her hands was like a new born baby's hand. It was so soft. Literally.
I didn't hear her disagreement as we finally arrived at the big tree and I catches my breath before smiling knowingly at her direction.
She was blushing as her gazer on her intertwined hands. My eyes widen in late realization and swiftly yet softly grab my hand from intertwining at hers and blushed at my action.
I grab a hold of the princess hand. Caught her off guard. Dragged her out here. Intertwined my hands onto her soft and delicate ones. I must've been my auto pilot self since if it wasn't I must've been crazy for a while there.
I can't explain my action properly. Its just my body was doing it on its own and mind has this kind of responsive pulse after seeing that she wanted to go to the tree but there's the hesitation to it. That was the logical reason but there was also this something in the back of my mind. To grab a hold of her hand.
"I-Im so sorry your Majesty I-"
She immediately interrupted me by the shaking of her head gracefully. She had a small smile plastered onto her face. She looked at the tree and stared for it a while. Curiosity got a full of me and followed her gazed on the tree and was a bit surprised to see a small bird.
I can see blood from the birds left wing as it tried to flaps but tried miserably. I winced for the bird before I clutched the white small towel in my pocket that I sewed last month and climb the tree.
My trainings had paid off and one of those was to climb a tree a bit faster than normal with some quite few tricks I've learned after escaping the wolf master had tasked me to slain that was become the burden of our neighboring farmers a week ago.
The bird tried to again flaps its wings but again failed and it broke my heart at the poor sight of the poor bird. I slowly grab it and grab a small twig with the same size as the small birds wings and worked.
After a few while I firmly yet softly tightened the small towel on the birds wings with the small twig as its support. It might can't fly for a few while but sooner or later it can. The only thing we could do for the time being was just to wait and it will eventually heal.
I slowly climbed down from the tree and landed safely on the ground. I was a bit startled to see the princess so closed for comfort. She too was caught of guard which caused her to stumbled and lost balanced.
I panic a bit before scooping her by her waist. I sighed of relief inwardly to myself. That was a closed call. I then let go of the princess after I helped her stand in her ground.
"Are you alright your Majesty?", I asked her worried. She shook her head slowly and just stayed quite.
I eyed her and observed. She did the same to me though and we engaged in a deep staring contest but she eventually looked away. She looked bothered.
" Is there something that matter your Majesty? ",I asked again.
She opened her mouth then closed it again and opened it again. I can't helped but raised a brow at her, kinds amused at her behavior. I didn't expected something like this from her or if it had been one of her hidden behavior, I didn't expected myself to see it personally.
" Can you call me by my name please"
...
It has been a week that had past and every passing day I got closer to the princess. I can't helped but smile at the thought of it as I got out of my room and walked towards the room to the princess.
