Keith watched the man with it's sword coming closer to her as she immediately stood up and stand in her defensive stance.
The man had a smile of realization in his mouth as he stopped a meter away from Keith who looked at him with a stoic face.
"I had once fought a man with a fighting style like yours but he was pronounced dead five years ago in the war—"
Keith widen her eyes as she anticipated what was the man going to say more. She had now a hunched forming in her head and she was dreading and nervous of it at the same time for some reason.
"—a war between the Romens and Islarians. Are you his disciple student? A disciple student of Lars?", the man asked still with a vicious grin on his face.
" How did you know about my master?",Keith asked with a hard feeling after she remembered his dead Master because of the war that the man had proclaimed between his and her Kingdom.
"Oh I was right all along. Let me introduced myself to a beautiful lady such as you, I am Geirmo from the Grook Kingdom and I was curious on how you became a disciple of a man whose Kingdom was now in ruins and no people left?"
The question left Keith confused and curious as unnecessary negative thoughts and theory bubbled up her head.
"What do—"
Keith didn't finished what she was about to say when the man, Geirmo had launched an attacked at her which she had fortunately deflected with her sword.
Keith felt the impact of the attacked as she saw and felt herself drawing backward from Geirmo who again immediately attacked her without warning.
This time she didn't have the strength to deflect it and saw herself lying on the warm ground again as she gazed dumbfoundly at the sky where the sun was shining and gazing back down at her.
She can't let this man win, she had knew the consequences if she lost to a man someone like Geirmo, she thought to herself as she swiftly stood up before Geirmo attacked her without any warning again.
She focused and readied both swords on her hand as Geirmo again attacked her with full speed. Sounds of metal piercing through each other was the only sound that was heard for the mean time.
Both of them stepped back as they catches their breathes and Keith saw this as an opportunity and immediately run towards the gasping Geirmo who had again deflected her attack.
"Your style was just the same as Lars so it was easy to read your attacks", Geirmo whispered near her ear as she stepped back. The mocking tone of Geirmo didn't escaped Keith as she clutched both her sword hard.
"You know what he once said to me?", he asked Keith who stayed silent. Keith's silenced was the cue for him to continue.
"It was something like—
'Only the strong one's can survive in this cruel place', but guess what he died in the war", he mocked as he purposely laughed hysterically at Keith's face who had a blank expression before she run towards Geirmo with full forced.Geirmo expected this since he wanted and initiated this to happened after all but he was surprised when Keith immediately vanished infront of him and attacked him from behind with a slashed on his shoulder that made him stumbled back and landed on his knee.
He gritted his teeth as he clutches his swords and glared back at Keith who looked down at him with a calm and composed expression. He twitched his mouth at the wrong moved he had used. He thought it would lessen Keith's fighting spirit and mourned for her master since he sense she was closed to him by how she asked him earlier about the deceased Lars.
