"ISN'T THAT SKIRT TOO SHORT, SIEUN?" Hana, her makeup stylist told the wardrobe stylist with a grimace. Adele pulled down her skirt, not feeling comfortable at all. She had her safety shorts on, but she didn't find a point wearing it when it also was short.
Sieun had a stressed look on her face while pacing back and forth, feeling guilty for not checking the clothes before they were stored in for her.
"Yes, Hana, I'm completely aware of that, and I'm freaking out!" She snapped, making the other staffs jump at her outburst.
"She can't go outside like that. That shirt is too short and it's very windy today." Minah, her makeup stylist, also added with a frown.
"We don't have any spare clothes either, guys. I'm so sorry, Addie." Sieun said with a sense of guilt, running a hand through her hair.
Adele rubbed her back and sighed, "It's fine, Unnie, don't blame it on yourself. I'll just go with it. We can't do anything about it." She told her and walked over to one of her staffs to put her microphone on.
"Are you sure?"
"Dead serious, mate. Wish me good luck."
Adele stood backstage with the others, waiting for their names to get called. She still struggled with getting comfortable with her outfit and constantly checked her back if she revealed anything.
"What are you doing, Noona?" Youngjae came in behind her, watching her looking at her back.
Adele paused, looking at him with a smile, "Nothing, just, you know, checking if my back looks good in that outfit." She blurted out, mentally cursing.
"You look great, Addie. C'mon let's get ready, it's almost our turn." Youngjae told her before grabbing her hand and walking over the stage.
Hearing the cheers and the crowd made her almost forget about her nerves. Keeping it professional, she performed like there's not tomorrow and danced with a smile.
The fans could clearly see her struggling except the boys, being too focused on their performance. While performing, she could feel the wind blowing through the stage, tousling her hair.
She felt the panic washing over her and pulled her skirt down while singing her part. When Jinyoung's part came, a jacket suddenly wrapped around her waist. Adele turned around and saw Mark looking at her with a worried expression.
Tying the jacket around her, she mouthed a 'thank you' before moving positions. He winked at her and continued the performance.
