One early morning.
"Savy, meet your Uncle Simeon" bungad saakin ni Mommy.
i was busy playing my dolls when she came home with a new guy

hindi siya yung lalaki from the last time
this one...
this one is different..
He have this long hair.. thick eyebrow and long eye lashes.. pointed nose and pinkish lips and gray eyes.
he is also not old.
hindi siya kaedad ni daddy nor ng mga lalaking dinadala ni mommy dito.
but he is not also that young.. he is older than me.
he is tall too.
im only 10 but i know this kind of man..
masyado akong bukas sa mundo because of internet and books.
Para sa isang batang tulad ko, marami na akong nalalaman
and that guy,
he is every ones type. i must say.
"Hi little girl" wika nito
Lumuhod pa ito saaking harapan, upang makaharap ako.
he have this nice voice
a voice that makes me... i dont know this feeling, how would i say this..

"h-hello" nahihiya kong wika then walk away from them
dali dali akong kumuha ng tubig at ininom ito
pakunti-kunti ay sumisilip ako sa pwesto nila ni mommy.
"do you think.. we must tell her na?" my mom asked

inosente akong bumalik to tell them na wala akong narinig
"ahmm.. anak.. this is Simeon and we are getting married.."
i was shocked.

married..
so that means..
he is going to be my daddy?
no way!

"do what you want mom" yun nalamang ang nasabi ko dahil
i have no say at everything she wants
mula ng umalis si daddy, she became different
and i hate it

People were amazed how grand their wedding is. Simeon was not well known in Puerto Pablo (the name of our town) kaya marami rin ang nagtataka.
Some say's na, Simeon only wants our money. bata pa ito at marami pang makikilala.
