Sad realization

None POV

T'was.........

"Leather head!?!?!" Mikey said astonished.
"Michealangelo...Words can't describe how much thankful I am that you're back" LH said gently picking Mikey up and hugging him. Mikey responded back by doing the same.

LH put him down, Mikey smiled at him remembering he still had people to care "Mikey you're back!" he heard a female voice behind him he looked to see it was April "April!" Mikey yelped in joy.

Their baby blue gazes met each other. "I'm so glad your back!" She yelled. They gave each other a hug for good 5 minutes until April break the hug. "Where were you? Are you hurt?" she asked worried about him.

"I'm fine and well April I was at one of my secret places to chill" Mikey replied "You were? Cuz Leo, Raph, Donnie and Casey searched all your secret places" April asked suspiciously
"We-well it's a new hide out I found so they couldn't find me..." Mikey said breaking at the first word.

April noticed the uneasiness in Mikey "Well where are my brothers and Master Splinter?" Mikey said changing the subject. "Oh uhhh... they're outside still searching for you" April answered "With master splinter?" he asked. She nodded. "I'll call them and let them know you came back." April informed.

Mikey suddenly remembered he had pills in his hidden pockets he had to hide them before they arrive and start pestering him and forcefully check him.

"I'm really tired I'll go to my room... call me if they come" by saying that he rushed to his room. LH and April exchange suspicious glances and looked at each other with confusion.

"Something's wrong with Mikey..." April told him "I am afraid it is..." LH replied "Well... I guess my work is finished here if they ask about me tell them I went home OK?" LH asked "Okay..." she replied.
LH: Goodbye
April: Goodbye..

At Mikey's room

Sweat covered Mikey as he was breathing sharply his hand were shaking violently he took out the jars there were 3 to 4 jars each contains more than 45 pills this time he hid them in even more better place he shifted the cupboard where he kept his old comic books and games. There was a rectangular hole for some reason Mikey noticed it when he was told to clean his room he quickly put all the jars there and closed the hole by shifting the cupboard back to its original position. He sighed and sat down on his bed in relief.

After few minutes he faintly heard Raph yelling for Mikey, the yelling was getting louder and louder reaching towards Mikey's room. Mikey was really nervous at the pit of his stomach then heard the the most ear splitting banging noise ever on his door.

"MIKEY OPEN THE DOOR RIGHT NOW YOU-"

Mikey knew it was the end of him getting beat up by Raph and may be others he wasn't so scared in his entire life he he wasn't even THAT sacred when he met his new friends for the first time... who thought the brothers he loved he cared for would be so cruel and the strangers he thought were bad or scarey would be so..so.. kind hearted...

Then the hardest and the most saddest realization hit him, his brothers didn't even cared about him they just wanted him to be here because he was a family member and can make them happy lest he was useless, he felt like crying but he didn't. He opened the door.

He saw Raph standing looking at him with mad dull emerald green eyes he was sweating and looked red angry. He was about to have a outburst.

Then Raph did the unspeakable, he pulled Mikey up by his throat. Mikey unable to breadth struggling and choking each attempt to stop him was failing he slowly started to pass out.

Leo tried to stop him but ended up getting shoved by Raph, Donnie was death scared to save him from the angry turtle beast.

Until Splinter arrived on time and whacked Raph's neck which made him let Mikey go, Mikey passed out due to the lack of breath and fell flat on the floor.

Donnie who was standing dumbfounded doing nothing picked Mikey up and rushed him to the lab. "Rapheal! control your ancrimony!" Splinter yelled at Raph which made Raph sigh of exasperation.

2 hours later

Mikey woke feeling a bit of pain on his throat and really sharp pain on his neck. He was extremely drowsy and couldn't figure out what happened he then eventually remembered it all "Oh well my own brother tried to kill me and others were watching nicely" he said sarcastically.

He looked around the lab he had an oxygen mask and life support on nothing different.

After few moments Donnie came in the lab. Mikey immediately closed his eyes pretend to be asleep. Donnie didn't notice a thing then shortly afterwards Raph, Leo, Splinter and April followed in.

Mikey still pretended to close his eyes he heard Donnie and Raph talking "He's okay now..." Donnie said looking at the IV his heart beat was fine so his breathing. "He better be!" Raph said "Raph that was cruel to choke your own brother..." Leo said softly "Yea yea I admit but he's fine..." he said carelessly

"You will apologize to your brother, Rapheal" Splinter ordered "But Master he's the one who-" he was cut of by Splinter's passive aggressive look. "Hai... Sensei" he replied. "Well strangling him isn't right Raph" Donnie advised. "Make sure not to lose it next time okay?" Leo added

"Oh y'all blame me!? For my outburst!? I mean he's the one who didn't come home for 3 days and suddenly he shows up meanwhile we searched for him all day and night without enough rest or food thinking he got captured by the enemies meanwhile this idiot was chilling in his hideout!?" he yelled. They knew he had a point so they kept quite about it ignoring him which made Raph growl.

April didn't pay attention to any of them she was just looking at Mikey. She remembered all those times when Mikey always made her laugh despite he turned her Dad into a giant mutant bat she forgiven him after he created the retro mutagen which eventually turned her dad back to normal.

Mikey was always like a little brother to her because his elder brothers quite didn't acted kind to him especially Raph.

Mikey was always the cure to depression but now he was the victim April felt guilty for leaving Mikey alone and spend more time with Don and Casey and resolving their constant childish fightings.

"Guys should we now look how Mikey is doing?" April asked "He's fine he'll wake up anytime." Don said "Why you so concerned by the way?" He asked suspiciously.

April was now angry at his stupid question especially coming from the genius really made her sick to stomach "Really Don!? T'was a life and death situation and YOU are asking me why am I so concerned! It's sickening!" April yelled.

Donnie was taken aback so were the other turtles and the rat master.
"April I didn't mean to-"
"Leave me and Mikey alone!"
"But-"
"Leave!"

They all left at once. Sad April looked at Mikey, he then slowly opened his eyes seeing April's sad expression "Don't be sad April.." April looked up to see Mikey awake "OMG Mikey you're awake" she said joyfully.

"Ye.. I heard everything don't call my brothers now" he replied "I can't believe they said that about you..." she said "Neither do I" he replied "My brothers they...  never loved me so that be it.. I wouldn't love them either.." Mikey said tears streaming down from his eyes.

"Awww Mikey don't say that they do love you, I love you" She replied April leaned closer to him "You'll always be my little brother" she whispered softly. "Love ya too big sissy" he whispered back.

Meanwhile with the turtles

Master Splinter went back to his Dojo and Leo, Raph and Donnie eaves dropped at half of their conversation and guess what...?

They took it HORRIBLY wrong unable to hear their whispers of course.
They thought that...  April loved Michealangelo in a "other way around" 

Leo and Raph were shocked they gulped and slowly turned their head to look at the purple clad terrapin...
