𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍. 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓𝐒 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐘𝐍 𝐅𝐄𝐋𝐓 𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐆𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐈𝐍𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐁𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐉𝐎𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌 𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐔 𝐒𝐋𝐄𝐄𝐏𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑. the chateau sleepover was supposed to be a secret bonding session for the cast. which is why evelyn was confused when she got the invite.

her dad had told her that her job on set was to capture moments with her camera and be there to help get the cast from one place to another. when she got the text from rudy asking if she wanted to come along she originally thought about saying no. nevertheless she packed a small bag of clothes and told her dad that she was going to stay at madelyn and madison's. she knew she couldn't tell him where she was actually going and risk them getting in trouble so she lied.

when she arrived at the chateau set the cast that she would be staying with was already inside. chase was the only one who heard the sound of a car pull in so he excused himself to go meet the girl at her car.

"oh well if it isn't miss evie pate" the boy smiled walking down the stairs to meet the girl.

"well hello mister chase stokes" the girl smiled as she played along with him.

they stood at her car for a few seconds before they started walking back up to the 'house'. entering the shack looking house, both madi's, jd, and rudy stopped their conversation to look at the two who had just walked through the door.

"evie! i'm so happy you finally made it" madi was the first to speak up. obviously ignoring the fact that evelyn was the only person that chase went out and met at their car.

"yeah, sorry it took me so long. had to figure out what to say to my dad" the girl lightly laughed as she moved to sit on the open chair. she didn't exactly realize that, that was chase's seat before she got there.

"sometimes i forget you're jonas' daughter" rudy laughed, everyone agreed with what he was saying.

"i mean same, he's basically just my fifty year old best friend" the girl laughed. it was true, her and her dad did everything together. he was her best friend and her biggest supporter. she had actually helped come up with the concept of the tv show, it was just something she threw out at him during one of their summer night porch talks.

"you guys are really close" chase piped up, still standing because there wasn't any other seats for him to sit in. evelyn took notice of the fact that he was seatless and finally connected the dots that she had stolen his seat.

"oh my, chase, you could have told me this was your seat" the girl spoke quickly, standing up to give the boy back his seat that she had stolen.

the boy simply shook it off. "eve, sit. you're okay." he reassured the girl, moving to sit on the armrest of the recliner chair the girl was seated in.

the group had continued to talk, the two on the chair mostly spoke to each other, every once in a while another cast member would jump into the conversation. rudy watched as the two on the chair had gotten caught up in their own little world with a smirk on his face.

"i bet you ten dollars they end up getting together by the end of filming" rudy spoke to the person nearest to him.

"oh within the first month" madison countered the bet with a smirk. it was cute watching the two people that had just met a week prior already be so close and connected.

"oh crap, i forgot to tell all you guys. my dad told me to tell madi and mads, since that is where he thinks i am, that he wants you to look as natural as you possibly can, so there is a good chance you get little makeup and hair done tomorrow" the blonde girl remembered randomly.

"okay, thank you evie" mads smiled at the girl who pulled herself out of her world with chase to inform them.

"i for one am so excited for tomorrow" jd spoke truthfully looking around his cast mates and new found friends.

"i'm so happy i get to help with all this with you guys" evelyn looked at all her friends.

the group carried on their conversation about how excited they were until they realized that it was roughly midnight and they should probably go to bed soon.

there was a total of three beds in the chateau and six people set to stay there. given that there was three boys and three girls they decided that two of the girls would sleep in one of the bedrooms and two of the boys would sleep in the other bedroom, the other girl and boy would sleep on the pull out couch in the living room.

ultimately after a good amount of arguing madison and madelyn took the bed in the one bedroom. evelyn's winning argument was the fact that how she looked tomorrow wasn't going to be plastered on tvs everywhere.

after that it was set that evelyn would be sleeping in the same bed as one of the boys. upon realizing this, rudy and jd practically forced chase to be the one to sleep next to her.

once everyone got situated and ready for bed they each went into the rooms with the bed they'd be sleeping on.

"i can sleep on the floor if you'd like" chase offered. he didn't want to make evelyn uncomfortable by sleeping next to her.

"chase, like i said to the girls, i'm not the one that's going to be on tv" evelyn quickly denied his offer. moving over on the bed so they had enough room in between them to be comfortable.

not long after he crawled into the bed chase was fast asleep. evelyn was struggling to fall asleep, her mind was running wild thinking about all the ways she could fuck up her new job.

the girls thoughts were interrupted when an arm was thrown around her waist and pulling her into their chest. at first the girl tried to get out but the boys grip was far too tight for her to escape. finally the blonde girl drifted off into sleep when she refocused her thoughts on all the amazing memories she knew she would make that summer of filming.
