i just got my pay i got in my car and drove to the bank. i was standing in line when i heard a shout from behind me

thug 1:get on the ground!

i turned around to see 4 guys with guns wearing masks i heard a gun cock then a guy turned aroud and shot the security guard in the chest everyone screamed and dropped to the ground shaking

thug 1 and thug 2 stayed the third stood by the door while the fourth went to the back where i couldnt see some moron moved over behind the desk while the two werent looking. the first turned around the guy charged out and started struggling with the guy the second guy turned around aimed but before he shot i thought 'fuck it' and charged the guy i pushed the gun away which shot his friend in the shoulder it gave the guy time to punch the thug out i pushed the thug down and kicked him in the face knocking him out i heard a shot and the third thug stood there i fall to the ground groaning

'shit!' i thought 'im going to die' i felt so weak i couldnt keep my eyes open i was hearing screams and shouts gunshots i didnt know what was going on then everything stops its quit i feel rejuvinated i open my eyes and all i can see is white i turn around and ther is a middle aged guy reading a piece of paper sitting at a small table

"uhm-h-hello" he looks up for a second then said "sit" i do i ask him "who are you" i nervously ask he puts the paper down sighs then says"god" a second pass and i say "oh" he raises an eyebrow "oh is that it oh?" "well what do you want me to say?" "nothing its just most mortals freak out or deny it"he says with a look of confusion "am i dead" i ask a bit tentatively "yes" he says simply "oh ok" i say with a small bit of sadness he looks greatfull for a second then says "thanks for not freaking out like the rest for so long you mortals have been screaming no no it must be a mistake or its not possible it gets tiring" "well what would be the point of that"i ask confused "its not like youre gonna bring them back" at this he looks thankfull"finally someone understands!" "so what do you want you be having conversations with everyone who dies" "well i wanted to personally thank you and offer a gift" "a thank you for what?" "youre sacrifice inspired everyone who was there most where kids who later became eco scientists saving the entire planet"
