Family?

Viv looked around at the paintings hung on the wall as Charlie reassured her that nothing bad will happen.
'You can't possibly know that.'
They heard piano music coming from a room a few doors down and walked into the ballroom. Sitting at a piano was Lucifer, while Lilith was listening to him playing. Lucifer noticed the two demons standing there and stood up.
"Ah, Vivienne, good to see you're doing alright. And Charlotte, I'm glad you decided to stop by."
Charlie got annoyed and hang out with her mother. Meanwhile, Lucifer took Viv to another room.
"So, Viv, I've possibly found a way to get you home."
"How?"
"I'm sure you're familiar with I.M.P." He said while chuckling. "However, because you aren't from this world I need find a few ingredients to modify the portal to send you home. I also found a small problem."
"What kind of problem?" She asked concerned.
"There is only three days left before you become a permanent member of Hell. Have you gained any new abilities?"
"Y-yes. I can create fire."
Lucifer put a hand to his chin.
"Well then I guess I should welcome you to the family. Only the Mange family has that ability. However, the only way to be certain is with a blood test."
He left and came with a needle. Before she can object he stabbed it in her arm. The red liquid fills the needle and he sends her off. She goes to Charlie and is about to leave.
"I'll be back down at the hotel tomorrow with the results. Keep an eye out for any more changes."
Charlie looked at her the entire way back but decided not to push for details because Viv looked like she was on the verge of tears. When they got back Viv ran all the way to her room and went under the covers of her bed. She started to cry uncontrollably.
"I-I might get stuck here? So I'll never be able to see my friends and family again? What did I do to deserve this?"
She cried for hours until she eventually cried herself to sleep.
