(Marli’s POV:)

And here I am running again, as always. It's what sets me free of everything even if only for a few moments. The few moments that make me separated from my duties and let me relax a little the mind. I love to feel this freedom. Feel like the wind passes me by and comes back making me launch and run even faster, I feel like I'm almost flying. My feet are bare and so I can feel the plants and the soil of the rainforest, constantly finding stones, small sticks and even thorns, hurting and injuring, thereby, my poor feet. But for me it not matter. I keep running like it was nothing, running as if my life depended on it... What for me it really depends.

(Narrator:)

At that moment, a blue van with two passengers winds its way by the old road, not have black tar but is full of clear land and small stones, which is situated near the oldest and non-visited forest of the United States of America. The powder is evident in the vehicle because of the path that it is going through.
Inside the car, are two brothers, both blond and from a family has always known to be very rich and powerful; the oldest is at the wheel, while one of his younger brothers is in the passenger seat. They go to the forest with the intention of go hunting (being all equipped with rigor and taking hunting weapons in the back of their late grandfather's van, when they were little they usually go  hunting with him, but they never really had hunted they only were watching his grandfather do it but they wanted to do it now). Such as was the place closer to home where they could be more successful to find animals to hunt, especially bunnies and some birds, they decided to go there, even though no one goes there and of all the many legends and rumors about this forest but however, only them and the other brothers are who knew it, not because it is a secret they only thought unnecessary the other members of the family who reside in home know it.

After going through a curve one of the brothers breaks the silence.

“Now this's really what I want, you know?” Ross said and looks at his feet nodding. “It's better this way...” He lifts his head and looks forward. “It will help me to forget and to move on and to focus on best things for my career in the future.”

Although Ross showed that he was determined in achieving his objectives, Riker knew that deep down he was down and lost. “Bro, but have you sure you want to go so far from us, your family?” he said.

“Yes. And you asked that a thousand and one times... And look that I was counting!” He answered trying to cheer the conversation knowing what his brother would talk next. They gave a small giggle and smile but deep down none of them was happy or excited about this.

“I know but... You know, I... I know you don't care neither of the university nor of your studies.” Riker said and takes away the eyes from the road to look for a second to his brother. “We both know that.” Both became more serious and was noticed some tension.

“Riker don't…” he was interrupted by his older brother.
