Pacifica POV

You have brought shame upon this family.

You don't belong.

You're just another link in the world's worst chain.

You're father was right.

Bells.

Bells.

BELLS.

Pacifica shot up in her bed and gasped. It was just dream, like it always was.

She had been having the same dream over and over again for the past year or so. She always saw Dipper and her parents on the night of the mansion mystery in it.

I can't stand this anymore, she thought after taking some deep breaths. I have to go.

She put her hand to her head and realized she had a headache.

It had been four years since Weirdmageddon, and she decided that this year, instead of residing there in the summer, she would move in. After all, she just graduated high school and was practically an adult.  She knew that her parents would be furious. But she didn't care. She just couldn't stand the sound of bells anymore and was so utterly sick of her parents treating her like a dog they could train.

Visiting the Shack during the summer wasn't something that Preston and Priscilla approved of in the first place, and residing there was apparently out of the question. So Pacifica knew she would have to sneak out if she wanted to live there.

And today was the day she was going to. After all, Dipper and Mabel were there again for the summer, but had also decided to live there for the next year or so or possibly even longer.

She grabbed her suitcase of belongings sitting by her noticably smaller bed than the one back at the mansion. Ever since the Northwests lost their mansion, they had been living in a middle-class home, which was something they thought would never happen. It took a while for Pacifica to get used to, but it wasn't much different from the Shack, so she didn't mind. Her parents never got used to it, of course.

Pacifica checked the alarm to be sure that she wouldn't be late. She and the twins agreed to meet up at the Shack at about 6:30 AM so Pacifica could sneak out before her parents even woke up. Pacifica didn't know what would happen when they realized that she decided to live there, but they wouldn't care for now since they would just figure that she was visiting again.

Pacifica took a deep breath and threw her backpack over her shoulder. She quietly crept out of her room and out the door to meet with the people that she actually felt cared about her.
