A/N: Happy Father's Day everyone :D hope you enjoy this chapter :)

Dipper POV

"Ugh, I'm so bored," Pacifica says one day after dinner, hanging upside down on the couch with her light blonde hair drooping down to the floor.

We hadn't done much that day since it was sort of dark and cloudy outside. Pacifica never was a fan of lazy days, and I honestly never have been either. It always felt nice just to do something since Paz kinda missed out on her childhood.

I sigh and decide we should do something besides laying on the couch. "You wanna do something Paz?"

Pacifica immediately sits up with a smile on her face. It amazes me how quickly her mood can change. I consider offering a braid, but I know she doesn't have that kind of patience right now, so I leave her be.

She crosses her legs and turns to me in excitement. "So, where are we going?"

I chuckle. "You just can't wait, can you m'lady?"

Paz rolls her eyes and laughs. "No, I can't, Dip." She scoots closer to me and rubs my knee affectionately. I push her hair back again because I know she loves it when I do that and play with her beautiful light blonde hair. She leans against me and groans out of impatience.

"Okay, okay, let's go," I say. She jumps off the couch in a hurry and drags me out the door.

"So, where are we going Dipper?!"

I laugh. "Well, I thought we would go out by the lake. It looks really pretty in the evening."

Paz's face lights up and we start to head towards the back of the woods where the lake is.

Pacifica POV

As we walk through the woods, a small breeze rustles through the leaves above us. I close my eyes and feel the wind go blow my hair back. It feels really good to be outside after being stuck inside all day. And it feels even better to be with Dipper.

I'm always happy to be in the woods. My family never bothered to take walks in a place this beautiful.

By the time we reach the lake, the stars are out in the dark, navy blue sky. They glimmer to my admiration, much like they do every time. The night sky always manages to amaze me with its beauty. Dipper always likes to gaze at the astonished look glued on my face. It's kind of embarrassing to know that he's looking at me, but it's still adorable.

We stop by a log and sit down to watch the water on the lake. The trees are swaying in the breeze and the crickets destroy the silence in the background.

"What do you think?" Dipper asks while looking at me.

I turn to look at him with a wondrous look on my face. "It's gorgeous. I wish we went here when I was younger."

At this point, Dipper isn't surprised that I've never been here before. He grabs my hand and gives me a friendly smile. I smile back and take a deep breath in.

"You wanna walk into the water?" he asks calmly. I nod.

We slowly stand up and walk into the water. I can feel the warm rocks poking my feet and wiggle my toes.

Our clothes eventually get wet, but we don't care. After we're about chest-deep, I jokingly shove Dipper under the water. He immediately rises to the top and laughs. "Oh so that's how you wanna play it?" he says mischievously.

He shoves me under as a response. I'm glad I took those swimming lessons when I was little. I rise to the top with my drenched hair covering my face and I laugh with Dipper laughing along with me as well.

Dipper flips my long, heavy hair up and over my head so I can see him. We hold each other by the shoulders and kiss with smiles on our faces.

The next hour was spent dunking each other and laughing to no end. Leave it to Dipper to change a boring day to one that is dear to my heart.
