Siren (Avengers X Reader)

Chapter Six

So I didn't think this through, maybe jumping through a window wasn't my best idea. As I fall I hear a strange sound and the next thing I know there is this red and gold robot thing flying towards me.... Crap.

It takes less than seconds for the robot to catch me and I notice that we're hovering above the water. I sigh and try to get the muzzle off with little success. We start moving and I realise that we are not heading back to where we were but instead we are heading to what I hope is dry land, well at least I'm not in a glass tube I wonder what is gonna happen to me?

I try get comfortable and decide to doze off.

*time skip*

I slowly wake up and realise that I'm not flying anymore I instantly open my eyes and sit up taking in my surroundings. I'm in a barely furnished room. I touch my face and notice that the muzzle is now off. Thank God that thing was uncomfortable.

The same man from before walks in.. Tony I think? "Oh thank god you're awake" Tony sighs in relief??

"Umm where am I? And who are you?" I ask him. He looks at me in defeat and hurt. "You are in my tower and I'm Tony, I'm your brother" the said sadly. Huh. "Anyway you need to help me because Arthur is on a war path and wants you back" he states hurriedly. Arthur? Why does that seem so familiar?

"Why does that name sound familiar?" I ask Tony curiously. He stared at me for a few seconds wondering if I lost my mind. "Umm... This might be bad" he said before running his hand through his hair.

"Jarvis can you please give me a scan" as tony said this I looked around the room to try find who he was talking to "it seems she has amnesia sir" a voice said from out of nowhere which made me jump. I quickly jumped out of the bed and began looking for the source of the voice.

Tony started to walk to me and I started to back up. I don't know how I got Jere so I'm not about to get chummy with a stranger. Tony stopped walking when my back hit the wall. OK I need to get out of here and note to self don't jump out of the window. "Your name is (Y/n) And I'm your brother Tony you supposedly have a husband named Arthur and you are a queen but whatever" Tony said as he started moving closer to me.

I waited until he was closer to me before I grabbed a hand full of his hair and smashing his face into the wall next to me as soon as his face makes contact with the wall I bolt out of the room and down the hallway and I come across an emergency stairwell I push the door open and take the stairs two at a time. Dammit there are a lot of stairs why did I think the stairs were a good idea, I did not sign up for cardio. I run in the next door only to be met with a lot of confused faces, don't worry I'm also confused. I speed walk , because you know fuck cardio, to the floor to ceiling glass window and see that there is another building just a few floors down I quickly grab some heave looking equipment as an alarm sounds,that's not good. I throw the equipment at the window and just as I hoped it smashed. Well there goes my don't jump out of windows rule. I run and jump out of the window and land on the next building, rolling to slow most of my momentum. I start running and jump from building to building only stopping when I'm a few good blocks away and on what looks like a police building.. Maybe I don't know what the roof of a police building looks like bit if the big ass radio tower and sign are anything to go by. I quickly enter through the roof entrance and take a few stairs down not running anymore because like I said fuck cardio. I walk through the first door I see and make a beeline for the elevator. I enter and press the button for the ground floor. OK so I need to get lost in the crowd and then what? I'm starting to question my judgement was it a smart idea to run? I don't know maybe too late now though.

As the doors open I see Tony looking around the room and all the officers looking at Tony. Crap how did he get here? I quickly press the close button once the doors close I press a random button. Now what? As the doors open I'm met with the shocked face of a man he stares at me for a few seconds before grabbing my arm and dragging me out of the elevator and into an office labeled detective Grayson.

"(Y/n)?" He questioned I still just stared at him wondering who the hell is this. "Its me Dick" he said

Yaay I am back from the dead and will try to post a chapter once a week sorry for the short chapter I promise to make the next one longer.
