When Ibuki & Mikan got back to school they only had one more class for the day, and by luck the two of them had the same class, that said class was P.E. As the two of them got to the classroom it seemed that they were the only people from their homeroom in that class.

As gym went on they did the ordinary first day stuff, like assigning lockers, weighing the students, counting their height, etc. When this was happening Mikan struck a conversation with Ibuki "I-i hope we don't ha-have to do anything too exhausting."

"Well" Ibuki began with a grin on her face "Ibuki knows how to as 'professionals' say 'cheat the system'." she winked

"And how do you do that?" Mikan asked, with an eager look on her face.

"Ummm." Ibuki was dumbfounded, she didn't think Mikan would take that seriously "Well... Ibuki thinks you could always get a doctors note, or you could just walk during track."

"Oh, t-the ladder option works?" Mikan cocked her head sideways, with a joyful tone.

"Yeah! After all, it worked for Ibuki last year." She delightfully said, her smile growing from one side of her head to another.

"W-well, I rather do that, I guess." Mikan responded as she sat down on a nearby riser on the ground.

"But why? Wouldn't it be easier if you just got a doctors note, or just simply change classes?" Ibuki questioned, as she sat down right next to Mikan; looking at the other people in the class, messing around while waiting for their examinations to be over.

"I-i guess I just want to be around you, you're a sweet friend after all." Mikan bluntly, and honestly answered, as she subtly smiled towards the girl with the multi-coloured hair.

As Ibuki turned her head toward the purple haired nurse for some odd reason she blushed a little, she didn't know why but she felt more 'connected' to this random girl she just met compared to her other peers that she knew for what felt like her entire life. Maybe it was how Mikan was just honest to Ibuki, but Ibuki shared the same feelings with Mikan, that she felt safe around her. "Oh, umm... Ibuki thanks you." Ibuki said as she was trying to think of something else to say.

At that moment, it seemed like it was the end of the school day, due to the alarm going off one last time. So, the both of them walked back home together, as they walked down the busy sidewalk Ibuki asked a sincere question to Mikan with a playful demeanor "So, Ibuki wants to know what your phone number is."

"Oh, I-i don't have a phone." Mikan responded with a nervous smile on her face, making Ibuki stop in her track.

"Mikan, you're joking, right?" Ibuki asked, pondering on how a girl at her age did not have herself a phone.

"N-nope, please d-don't hate me." Mikan answered as she felt like the worst was about to happen, but then Ibuki snapped her back to reality, away from that horrible fantasy land.

"Mikan, Ibuki would never hate you." Ibuki comforted Mikan with a bear hug "How about she buys her queen a phone? She has the money after all."

Mikan froze up for a second, since she felt bad for making Ibuki spend so much money on her in one day, and how she didn't want to come home late. "W-well, if it makes you happy." Mikan replied, as she tried to get out of Ibuki's hug; people were watching them after all.

"Well, Ibuki would love to spend even more time with Mikan! Even if it's not in person, so let's go get it!" Ibuki smiled as she let go of Mikan, turned her around, and grabbed her arm "Come on, Ibuki knows where to get the best phones!"

As Mikan was being dragged along by Ibuki she asked herself some questions in her head. "Why is Ibuki so nice to me?"

"What's gonna happen if she starts to hate me?"
