Chapter 3: Hanging Out

it's finally sunday morning after a long night of thinking about Sooyoung Jiwoo finally got a decent amount of sleep as soon as she woke up she goes to her bathroom and splashes water on her face

"why couldn't i sleep there's no way i'm crushing on Ha Sooyoung... please don't be a crush" she stares at herself in the mirror for a while before brushing her teeth she goes to make herself breakfast

she spends some of her time cleaning around and looking over the science project she suddenly gets a called "ha sooyoung" her phone says

(call starts)

Sooyoung: hey Chuu...

Jiwoo: oh hi Sooyoung

Sooyoung: do you think it could be a good time for me to come over

Jiwoo: i-it's kind of early have you even eaten?

Sooyoung: i've eaten already please just let me come over

Jiwoo: are you ok?

Sooyoung: no... not really i just need to see you we can work on the project if you want i'll explain everything

Jiwoo: yeah... come by whenever

Sooyoung: alright i'll see you in a bit

(call ends)

"what was all that about? she sounded so sad" Jiwoo questions

She doesn't have any time to think much of it since she had to suddenly get dressed

as she's walking back downstairs she hears a knock on the door this time Sooyoung arrived a lot faster than yesterday but Jiwoo was glad she was here she was concerned about the call

she opens the door and instead of the playful Sooyoung she's used to seeing it was a sad Sooyoung before Jiwoo was able to say anything Sooyoung hugs her Jiwoo had no choice but to hug the girl back

"hey let's go inside ok" Jiwoo says in her softest voice Sooyoung seemed so fragile Jiwoo felt as if she spoke any louder Sooyoung would shatter into pieces they walk to the couch and finally Sooyoung tells what's wrong

apparently she had gotten into a heated argument with her mom about her grades one thing led to another and Sooyoung mother had shouted insults at her "oh Sooyoung..." Jiwoo starts

"i think you're super smart you helped me so much during this project and i've gotten a little closer to you as well you're so nice and funny don't worry this will pass" she rubs Sooyoung's arm

Sooyoung smiles at the smaller girl's words she hugs her this time Jiwoo hugs her back with a better grip than yesterday they're chests were pressed together Jiwoo can feel Sooyoung's heart start to race after the hug they both pull away

Jiwoo notices a tear on Sooyoung's face she quickly wipes it away but accidentally makes eye contact causing Jiwoo to turn red their faces were already so close but now they were making eye contact

"please don't be a crush" Jiwoo remembers the words she told herself in the morning but it was too late she had fallen for Sooyoung

"did i make your heart flutter Chuu?" Sooyoung teases breaking the sad atmosphere with her humor

Jiwoo playfully pushes her away but doesn't comment on it "hey we're supposed to be hanging out" Jiwoo changes the subject quickly

"oh i kinda sorta brought something" Sooyoung says taking her backpack off and pulling out a big bottle of juice the juice had a strawberry logo Jiwoo only noticing the strawberry logo she immediately takes it and drinks it

"wait chuu it's a-"

"YUCK!" Jiwoo yells

"surprise?" Sooyoung can't help but smile at Jiwoo's cute reaction

"this is alcohol! where did you even get this?" Jiwoo asks says looking at the bottle

"i have my ways Chuu... if you don't want any it's fine" Sooyoung says taking the bottle back

"no no no no i won't be having any" Jiwoo cringes at the thought of drinking anymore of that nasty liquid

"it's fine i wasn't expecting much anyway" Sooyoung smirks knowing exactly what she was doing

"hey what do you mean you weren't expecting much gimme that" Jiwoo snatches the bottle and starts to chug some of it but quickly stops and gags "this tastes nothing like strawberries" she complains

Sooyoung drinks about the same Jiwoo did only cringing a little she sets the bottle on the table in front of them

"don't worry you get used to the eventually"

after a while Jiwoo starts feeling a little dizzy and giggly every now and then they both take sips from the bottle and soon enough they're both laughing and dancing every now and then tripping then laughing at their own mistakes

Sooyoung notices the bottle is almost empty she decides to drink the rest she grabs it while taking a seat on the couch

but Jiwoo notices her about to take the last of it "hey i want some give it" she tries to grab it but by now is so drunk she she's practically moving in slow motion

"come in get it dork" Sooyoung laughs uncontrollably for some reason thinking Jiwoo looks funny

Suddenly she feels pressure on her body she opens her eyes to see Jiwoo sitting on top of her

"give me the bottle Ha Sooyoung or else i'll have to attack " although Sooyoung is drunk she can still acknowledge that Jiwoo is really on top of her and Sooyoung likes it

"i wouldn't give it to you even if you kissed me" Sooyoung says

"what! no way if i kissed you you'll definitely give it" Jiwoo says for whatever reason feeling insulted

Sooyoung shakes her head "then do it and we'll see who's really bluffing"

Jiwoo almost immediately kisses the other girl they're lips are locked and neither of them are hesitant they let their lips do their own thing both already forgetting about the bottle

Jiwoo feels Sooyoung's hand on her neck and Jiwoo grabs Sooyoung by her waist pulling their already touching bodies closer and closer she didn't want any space between them

Jiwoo unknowingly places her leg in between Sooyoung's leg and moves it into Sooyoung which causes her to make a faint moan suddenly Jiwoo snaps back into reality and pulls away she has a shocked look in her face

She looks into Sooyoung's eyes and then her lips that were now covered in smeared lipstick "did i just do that?" she says in her brain

"didn't know you had it in you" Sooyoung laughs "well here's the bottle" she hands the bottle to Jiwoo

"i don't want it anymore" Jiwoo frowns

"what's the matter Chuu?" Jiwoo lays on Sooyoung and buries her face into the girls neck

"i...wnt...ou" Jiwoo murmurs

"you're gonna have to speak louder than that Chuu" Sooyoung wants to know what her friend is saying but it seems like Jiwoo is too embarrassed to say it

"i want you" Jiwoo finally says out loud

"I want you Ha Sooyoung"
