Chapter 2: A Day With Ha Sooyoung

It was finally the weekend... Jiwoo wasn't very exciting about it though. She knew she'd have to deal with Sooyoung again. From what she knew about Sooyoung's behavior she would probably forget about the project and never text. That is until Jiwoo saw a text from Sooyoung

Sooyoung: hey chuu if u were a transformer you'd be optimus fine ;)

Jiwoo: if this isn't about the project i won't text

Sooyoung: :(

Jiwoo: i'm serious

Sooyoung: fine fine send me your address and i'll be there :)

Jiwoo: *******

Sooyoung: oh ur not far at all i'll see u in a few get ready ;)

Jiwoo got ready because meeting her partner in her pjs wouldn't seem professional. Sooyoung wouldn't care though... but she'd try to pull some kind of joke.

Jiwoo put on a plain pink shirt and white shorts. Not long after Jiwoo was laying on her couch she heard knocking at her front door

She sighs "Must be her" she said as she got up to open her front door

Immediately she was greeted with a loud "HEY!" Sooyoung seemed overly excited which Jiwoo thought was actually kinda cute and she couldn't help but laugh. "You're so cu- cool I mean your house is so cool" Jiwoo noticed Sooyoung's slip up. It was weird that Sooyoung would call Jiwoo "cute" all the time but now was suddenly hesitant. Jiwoo decided not to mention it though and save them both from embarrassment.

"Yeah it's nice right? Take a seat I'll see if I have any snacks." Jiwoo says

"Hey actually I brought strawberries" Sooyoung pulled out a small lunch box from her backpack

"Oooh thanks I love strawberries!" Jiwoo said smiling she set them aside and ate them while they worked on the project.

They both eventually agreed enough work was done for the day so they watched tv. Although it soon got boring since there was almost never anything entertaining on the tv.

"You wanna see my room" Jiwoo asks Sooyoung who replied by nodding eagerly.

They go up stairs to where Jiwoo's room is. She opens the door to her pretty pink room. Sooyoung is surprised by how soft and cute the room is Sooyoung quickly notices how comfortable the girl's bed looks.

She jumps into it messing up the blankets and stuffed animals. Jiwoo was about to complain but then she saw how happy Sooyoung was. Her smile was so innocent and genuine unlike anything she'd seen during class. Jiwoo couldn't help smiling like an absolute idiot

"Are you just gonna watch me with that dorky smile or are you gonna get it" Sooyoung teases Jiwoo.

Jiwoo walks up to her "Alright but don't mess my bed up anymore." Jiwoo warns as she gets under the blankets with Sooyoung.

After a while their bodies are facing eachother Sooyoung is hugging her and Jiwoo is facing the other girl's chest.

"Hey Sooyoung?"Jiwoo breaks the silence.

"Yeah?" she says now looking down at Jiwoo she felt the other girl's gaze make her nervous.

Jiwoo didn't wanna look up she knew she'd get flustered looking Sooyoung in the eye.

Jiwoo asks "Why did you say you're super happy to be my partner? I'm not fun at all so why be happy I'm your partner?" After a few seconds of silence Sooyoung finally answers

"Honestly I just wanted to talk to you. You're super quite and always doodling in your books. It's so cute just like you Chuu. Sadly I knew you didn't want me as a partner I also knew you were very disappointed. I've been trying hard I don't wanna disappoint a cutie like you."

After that sentence Jiwoo feels Sooyoung hug her a little tighter. Almost as if she didn't want Jiwoo to leave luckily for her Jiwoo didn't plan on going anywhere.

Those words made Jiwoo wanna stay still. She felt safe in the taller girl's arms. It wasn't like Jiwoo to cuddle a person she barely knew but there was something about Sooyoung that felt like home.

Eventually Sooyoung had to leave she was at the front door things were quiet but comfortable.

"Do you wanna hang out tomorrow maybe?" Sooyoung asks.

"Yeah that's cool with me we did enough work for today anyway." Both girls smile at each other before Sooyoung gets on her bike and continues to bike away.
