i get up the next morning, order room service, eat breakfast, then change into my bathing suit. my bathing suit is just a solid royal blue bikini. i gather my things and make my way to the pool which i directly in front of the beach. i grab a chair and put tanning oil on my already tan body. i get my phone out and tweet a picture of the beach saying 'Ibiza, ive been waiting so long to meet you... now we're finally together and can live in peace ;)'
Not five minutes after I tweet the pic, @thewantedmusic tweets a picture of Ibiza saying ‘back for a bit of vacation time, has to be said how badly we need it. Party time!!!’ I set my phone back in my bag and walk over to the bar. I order a frozen margarita and sit patiently waiting for it. I feel a tap on my shoulder and I turn around to see Jay McGuiness from The Wanted. “can I help you?” I say and raise my eyebrows at him. He chuckles and says “im Jay, Jay McGuiness. Whats your name love?” “Trinidy, Trinidy Fox, Mr. McGuiness” I say in my best british accent. He throws his head back and laughs. “that was actually a really good impression! Though you sounded a bit posh,” he says and wrinkles his nose in distaste. I shake my head and laugh, “well thank you and no thank you? What brings you here to Ibiza?” “me and the lads are for a bit of relaxation. Something we could all use a bit of,” he answers. “ah, I bet. Been traveling the world a bit too much then?” I say and wink. “fan of the band I see?” he says with a smirk on his face. “wouldn’t call myself a fan, more like familiar with who yall are,” I answer back. “your accent is actually amazing,” Jay says in awe. “uh excuse me? yeah I have a damn southern accent, aint nothin special bout that,” I say with a laugh. “but it is perfection. Those accents are my favorite ones,” Jay says with a goofy smile. “whatever you say,” I respond. “hey how about—“ Jay starts to say but a voice interrupts, “Jay, mate! Come on!” we both turn to see Nathan flagging Jay over. “uhm, im really sorry but I have to go. How long are you going to be here?” Jay says. “a week or two depending,” I answer. “maybe ill see you around? Bye Trinidy, it was nice to meet you!” Jay says, kissing my cheek and hugging me. he turns and runs towards Nathan. Jay swipes Nathan on the head and Nathan hits him back in the arm and takes off running. I laugh at their antics and turn back around to finish my drink.
i set my sixth drink down and walk over to the beach. i go straight into the water and swim out pretty far. I hear laughter that sounds similar to Jay’s and I look around and find him and the rest of his group not sitting too far from me. I assume theyre staying in the same hotel as I am if theyre on this end of the beach. I take a deep breath and dive underwater and start swimming around. Back in high school, I was the winning swimmer. Ive always been able to hold my breath longer than any normal person, which has helped me through a lot. Swimming has always been an escape for me. swimming in the ocean is by far my best because of the colors and the creatures that live inside of it. i swim towards the beach and rise out of the water. I jog to my seat and check the time. I decide its getting pretty late into the afternoon, so I gather my stuff and walk inside. As I walk inside I hear a voice yell my name. I turn to see Jay waving at me. I wave back at him and turn to walk into the hotel. “whoa! Wait a minute!” I feel an arm on my shoulder to stop from walking any further. “yes?” I ask. “you stay in this hotel?” he asks with his raised brows. “yep, sure do,” I respond. “us too! Say what do you think of going out with us to the clubs tonight?” he asks me. “uhm, im not real sure I should,” I say quietly. “come on Trin! Itll be fun!” Jay insists. “fine, I guess ill come. What time?” I ask. “meet us down here round 10,” Jay says, smiles, and walks away.
I walk into my room and throw my stuff down. I run to the shower to start getting ready. I take my time washing my hair, and shaving my legs. I let the hot water drip over me and relax me. I roll my shoulders, trying to get the stiffness out of them. I turn the water off and jump out, then start drying off. I look in the mirror and try to decide how to do my hair and makeup. I decide to do a light smoky eye to make my blue eyes pop and put delicate waves in my hair to give it extra volume. After I do all that, I look at the clock to find its already 8:30. I call room service and order dinner since its not a good idea to get drunk on an empty stomach. I sit and wait for my food, all the while thinking. Ive kept myself locked up away from anybody for years. I don’t have the best home life nor the best relationship past. I always seem to get myself into shit I cant get out of. Im startled out of my thoughts when I hear a knock on the door. I get up to open it and take the food from the man. I set the food outside and sit on the balcony. I quickly eat and go to my closet. I look at all my clothes and hold up dress after dress trying to figure out which one I want to wear. Finally I decide on a deep red dress that hugs to my every curve, showing off my figure ive had to semi work for. I see the clock now says 9:50 so I decide to go ahead and head downstairs. I grab my purse and place my phone in it. I arrive in the lobby and see Jay standing there in a white v-neck and black skinny jeans on. “Jay!” I say. He turns in my direction and I see his jaw drop. “wow! Trinidy! You look fantastic!” he says and grabs me in a hug. “thank babe! You look pretty good too!” I respond. i hear 8 voices coming from round the corner. when i turn around, I see the rest of The Wanted and their girlfriends: Michelle, Max’s girlfriend, Kelsey, Tom’s girlfriend, Nareesha, Siva’s girlfriend, and Sammi, Nathan’s girlfriend. the boys each walk up to me and give me hugs and introduce themselves while the girls to the exact same thing. at first im kind of scared of what they will think of me but within minutes, i feel completely at home with them. we all start to make our way to the club when i see Jay checking me out from the corner of my eye. thats when i realize it was gonna be a long night.
