Kelly's POV:

I was torn from my dreams by what I thought was my alarm. I turned it off, but that stressful ringing didn't stop! I opened my eyes and realized that it wasn't my alarm clock but my phone that had been ringing at the other end of my room for several minutes.

It was Wednesday, I had to go to work, I rushed to the office and watched the missed call.

It was my boss-Damn it! The only call I miss is an important call !!!

I was listening to the voicemail, my boss was yelling at me because I wasn't there, but at the same time I'm not going to come before my time! He was also saying that I better hurry up and come because I was going to be the tutor for a guy called Leonard who has just been hired.

I was going to my living room and came across Benoît, who had obviously not returned last night after the end of Frozen. He was having lunch in front of the TV. "Hello!

-Hey! -Sleep well? he asked me.

-I'm fine, better than yesterday. How about you?

- I'm fine, you're working today I guess, do you want me to take Ali to school?

-You're too kind, but don't worry, I can't ask you to take care of my daughter all the time.

-But I don't mind, Kelly! You're my friend. If I can help you right now, I'd be happy to.

Thank you, but don't worry, rest, I'll take care of Ali.

-You're so stubborn, but it's okay if you want to."

I'd let him have his lunch and I'd wake up my daughter. I would take her to school but the closer we got to kindergarten the more her smile disappeared. I really need to make an appointment with her teacher to find out what's going on... I accompanied her to the gate where there was a teacher, kissed her on the forehead and wished her a good day.

I resumed my way to the newspaper and once I arrived at work I came face to face with Abigaëlle, my colleague and friend.

"Hey there! You're a bit late you know, hurry up or Robertson will shoot you!

- Yeah, don't worry, I'm used to it, all the times he's yelling at me it doesn't get to me anymore. I don't even know why I still work here.

- Because you need money and this is the only newspaper around here?! No, but seriously, if you ever get the chance, get out, you don't deserve to be treated like shit by a bastard!

-That's nice! I love you! Well see you.. if I'm still alive ahah!" I said, laughing, and headed upstairs.

I arrived at my office and as I expected as soon as I opened the door, I was greeted by an angry boss because I was exactly 5 minutes and 30 seconds late! How I love my life.... In short, he introduced me to the infamous Leonard who looked a bit like I imagined, that is to say, a beer belly, I would say in his fifties, bald, and eyes a bit bulging ready to break out of orbit. He reminds me a little bit of my freshman math teacher!

The morning was a bit of a pain in the ass though, I had to show Leonard around the premises, get him to print sheets and a whole bunch of boring stuff that trainees normally do. I'm getting tired of this job, I love journalism, but I'm getting tired of it! This boss, these ungrateful tasks, this atmosphere, everything is starting to piss me off. Add to all this Andrew, Mckenzie, the "bullying" of my daughter, then the medical expenses to pay when I'm already struggling to get by! It's enough to make me despair. Ah yes, for medical expenses I was notified by the hospital today. I can't wait for the lunch break so I can take a breather and talk about happy things with Abi.
