Gwen
After I taught Zayn how to doggy paddle, (believe me it was harder than getting him IN the water) he asked me to meet him after I showered. I consented, and was now waiting for him outside the locker rooms. I could hear the blow dryer going. Just like it had been for the past fifteen minuets. Finally I stood up and poked my head in the dressing room.
"Zayn?" I called "Zaaaaayyyyynnnnn!!!" Suddenly the dryer shut off and he came to the door. Wearing nothing but a towel.
"Yes?" He asked calmly, obviously amused by the expression on my face.
"W-When are you going to be d-done?" I stammered. He chuckled.
"I just need to get dressed, so count to twenty and I'll be out." He turned around and walked back in letting the door shut on me. I took a deep breath and started counting.
"1.............2.............3.............4............5............6...........7" The door swung open and a happy looking Zayn marched out with his bag slung over his shoulder, and his shirt in his hand. Yep. He was shirtless.
"Will you get dressed? Please?" I asked. He chuckled and leaned in close to my ear.
"I never thought that I would hear a girl say that to me" He said huskily. I stood there in shock as he walked away and slid his shirt on.
"Come on!" He said laughing "I was just making fun of you! Lets go get some coffee!" I giggled and followed him out the door.
Zayn
The Coffee Shop door chimed as I opened it for Gwen. Aromas of Coffee Beans, vanilla, and Cinnamon filled the air as I stepped in behind her. Long flowing Auburn hair brushed my arm when Gwen turned around to admire the room. This place was amazing. The tables were made of old crates and jars hung from the ceiling, illuminating the room with the glow from their bulbs. The walls were covered in old photos hanging at all sorts of angles. But, the thing that really got my attention was the steamed up glass of the display case for the baked goods.
"Wanta split a Coffee Cake?" I asked her. Her eyes widened as she looked at the case.
"Definitely" She whispered. I laughed and stepped up in line.
"I'll have a cup of tea please, along with some sugar and milk." The man behind the counter nodded and started filling my order. I watched in fascination as his white head bobbed up and down to some music that was faintly playing. His wire rimmed glasses kept slipping from his face, so he had to repeatedly nudge them back on his nose, but he didn't seem like he minded. He set my tea on the counter than looked expectantly at Gwen.
"Pumpkin Pie Spice Cappuccino please sir!" She said excitedly. He smiled and filled her order quickly, setting her cup next to mine.
"May I interest you folks in some Coffee Cake?" He asked "Just came out of the oven" We looked at each other and laughed.
"You don't need to convince us. We were already going to get some!" His smile grew even bigger as he cut a piece for us to split.
"Thank you" He said as he rung us up.
"No sir, thank you!" Gwen said stealing the cake and running to a table near the back. I grinned at him and picked up our drinks.
"She's a keeper that one" He said softly. I turned back to him.
"Sorry?"
"I said she's a keeper" I looked at him dumbly
"but we're just friends...."
"Uhha" He said "That's what they all think" With the mans voice ringing in my ears, I walked back towards Gwen.

Zayn walked towards me with the drinks in his hands and a puzzled expression on his face.
"What's wrong?" I asked. He snapped out of his trance and shook his head smiling.
"Nothing" He said sliding in next to me on the bench. His thigh was in contact with mine. I wondered if he noticed. Zayn pressed closer. Yeah he definitely noticed.
"Here" he said cutting a bite and placing it in my mouth. It was warm, sweet, and delicious. Or, was that just the boy?
"You know I'm not three right?"
"Yeah"
"Fine then" I proclaimed cutting a peice and holding it to his face "Open Up!" His eyes twinkeled as he took the cake in his mouth. Then his eyes widened as he tasted it.
"Dang that's good!" he gulped. ".......But still not as sweet as you" My mouth fell open in response to his words. He chuckled darkly and leaned in. His lips hovered by my ear, then made the slightest of contact. They traced the outline of my jaw, leaving a trail of fire in their wake. Zayn kissed my nose, then laughed at my expression as I ogled him.
"What" He asked smirking, taking a sip of his tea.
"Nothing" I replied smiling to myself. My world had just fallen apart beneath my feet. And yet, I was the happiest girl alive.
