Saving Kid Danger from Captain Man

Chapter 9

Third Person:

Ray needs to go over to see his sidekick, but he can't let Minyak get away. Ray punches Minyak until he's out cold, he rushes over to Henry.

Ray: Kid! pulling him into his arms. Kid, come on say something please.

Henry: R-ray. 

Ray: Henry! Thank god. 

Henry: I-it re-really hurts. holding his stomach.

Ray: I know. Kid i know. Im going to pick you up now, and take you back to the man cave ok?

Henry nodded, Ray picked Henry up as painless as possible but Henry still lets out a groan of pain. Ray gives him a look of reassurance. 

Ray: Ive got you, just please keep your eyes open.

Henry: R-ray.. I-I he trails off and passes out.

Ray: Henry! oh God i have to hurry.

Ray ran as quickly as he could to Junk-n-stuff, he knew that he couldn't put Henry down the tube so he had to go in through the store. Jasper was sitting at the counter when Ray ran in.

Jasper: Hey Ra- omg whats wrong with Henry.

Ray: No time to talk, i have to hurry.

Ray ran to the elevator, Jasper following him close behind. The two of them go down the elevator and quickly getting out.

Charlotte: Did you find Henry? Oh my god! she said seeing Henry passed out in Rays arms.

Ray: SCHWOZ! HURRY UP AND GET IN HERE!!

Schwoz ran into the room and gasped at the sight of Henry.

Schwoz: Lay him here. pointing to a table. What happened?

Ray: Well i found where Henry was and I knocked out the other guys in the room. Minyak held Henry and had this type of blaster. When i went to knock the blaster out of his hand, he hit Henry in the stomach. 

Schwoz: Ok ok. I need to get shirt off so i can see how bad the blast is.

Everyone carefully lifted Henry's shirt. It was bad. Really bad.

Schwoz: Oh my. This is going to take time to heal.

Ray: Well, will he be ok??

Schwoz: Im not sure, i have to do a body scan. and also do other tests.

1 Hour later

Schwoz: OK guys, I'm done with the tests...

Ray: So?

Charlotte: Hows Henry??

Jasper: Is he going to be ok?

Schwoz: He was looking down. Henry will live. The blast was really bad, it will take some time for him to heal. Until then he cannot go out fighting crime.

Ray: Ok, i understand. Has he woken up?

Schwoz: Right, thats what I'm forgetting.

Charlotte: What??

Schwoz: Henry is in a coma. Im not sure how long he will be in it, but he is.

Jasper: oh my.

Charlotte: my god.

Ray doesn't say anything, he's speechless. He can't help but think this is his fault. If he didn't lunge at Minyak Henry wouldn't have gotten hurt.

Charlotte: Do you know what he was going to do to Henry?

Ray: No.. but I'm going to find out.

Jasper: Where are you going?

Ray: To the police station, give that doctor a piece of my mind, until he tells me what i want to know.

Charlotte: You can't hurt him!

Ray: Why? Why can i not hurt him a little bit Charlotte?

Jasper: Because..

Ray: He hurt Henry! God, he nearly killed him! he starts to cry. I-i can't let him die. This is my fault i need to make it right!

Before anyone can say anything Ray goes up the tube, and out of view.
