Before leaving my mum pulls away the curtain then leaves, I can feel that I'm being stared at by the person next to me but dicided to ignore it and message k.
Shi: hello k, are you awake? x
K: Hey how are you?
Shi: eh I'm tired but other than that okay, how are you? x
K: if you're tired go to sleep x
Shi: I just woke up and the machines are too loud, how are you? x
The kid in the bed next to me was doing something in his phone too, I dont know what but it made him smile.
K: oh, I'm okay. Are you still in the hospital? What happened?
Shi: yeah I am, I dont wanna talk about it sorry.
K: okay, not even how your doing?
Shi: I'm okay, having scans tomorrow to see what the damage is.
K: was you in a car crash?!
Shi: no.
K: okay.
Shi: what you up to k x
K: nothing much you?
Shi: -_- what else would I be doing, messaging you baka x
K: oh haha sorry
I dicided not to reply after that and to go to the toilet, I sat up and stared at the wheelchair next to me; I used the controls to lower the bed to the chairs hight before transferring onto it.
While being watched by the boy next to me, I turn to look at him and smile before wheeling off.
Did he see all the bruises?
Did he see all my wounds?
Did he?
What's he gonna say?
After magically managing to use the toilet I returned and sat back in my bed where there was now police men, two of them.
"You're Shoyo Hinata yes?" Police man 1 asked, I looked at him confused before answering "yes?", he smiled and came closer.
"We're here to talk to you about your dad" the other stated, the moment he said dad I flinched slightly before grabbing my hand and squeezing it.
"W-what about him" I asked while looking at them and smiling slightly,
"Hinata we've see your body" I started to shake slightly before looking at the bed next to me, "c-can we close the curtain please" I ask before the officer closes it slowly.
I told them everything, about how he was still abusive and he tried to kill me a few times, they wrote it all down as a statement before moving the curtain back and leaving.
The boy is now staring at me again, it's kinda getting annoying I smile at him before turning over and curling up into my blanket.
K: Shi? Are you okay?
Shi: yeah, what's up? x
K: I wanna see you rn..
Shi: i do too but you know we cant.
K: why?
Shi: because you might not like the real me.
K: how could I not like you shi
Shi: you just wont okay!
K: shi?
Shi: I'm going to sleep, goodnight k.
K: goodnight shi x
I silently cried myself to sleep that night.
