Qori Guadaña

The calm sea, the whispering sound of the wind, the soft sand and the heat of the sun.

I've been enjoying this moment for a while until a medium-sized
silver box appeared out of nowhere, sailing along the waves.

I was thinking that it was a lost package or a thing that someone sent to get some help, but there's no sign that says SOS or something that it needs my help. The box was heavy, maybe because it is made from metal.

There's no one else here since it's a private property, so I will take this box home. I'm just a trespasser ('wag tularan) who hates the subject around this time, and it's Math. I don't really hate the subject, I just hate the professor. Who wouldn't hate a teacher who gets angry and shout at you every time you ask a question when you don't understand something. Edi sana 'di ka nalang naging guro kung ayaw mo sagutin ang tanong nila, but still, you need to adjust and respect them, even though they don't deserve that much.

I ditch every time the clock says "it's time to solve equations". The teachers didn't even care, how irresponsible.

Fun fact, the Principal knew I've been ditching every time our math teacher comes, and he didn't get furious at all. He giggled knowing I ditched and he agreed, amazing.

I'm riding a bus on my way home to open and see what's inside this mysterious box. The passengers are glancing at me multiple times. I know why, they're looking at me with blank faces after they saw me entering the bus with my uniform, the uniform of the very known as mischievous and despicable university, Seolli University.

When I was about to sit at the back -my favorite place to sit- they told me to sit in front. Much better then kicking me out.

"mas mabuti diyan 'yan sa unahan, baka may gagawin nanaman 'yan at idedeny sa paaralan nila"

"tama, mabuti't naisipan mo"

"ako pa"

People at the back whispered, even though it's still loud that I can hear it.

They still believe that crap? Our university was wrong not to sue the reporters who didn't dig deeper and convinced people that we were the ones who killed those innocent humans.

Our university has a crazy subject, it's Ammunition Subject. This subject was meant to be a secret, but it got revealed after the murder cases in our town, the reason they come up of the thought that we killed those people.

Every time a student who wears a high waisted two layered skirt, black at the bottom and a shorter one at the top with a gold color. A white cropped and collared long-sleeved inner, but our belly is covered with a corset. A long black ribbon replaced as a necktie, and a long black coat with our school's logo at the left part of the chest.

Same goes for the boys, except for the skirt of course. They wear slacks that has gold color on the left and black on the right, if you're facing them.

Again, every time they see a student who wears that uniform, they ignore like we have some deadly virus.

Our school uniform is not that terrifying to look, well before it wasn't. But after someone revealed that we have a subject that involves bullets and stuff, talking to us is death to them.

I've been studying in this university since kindergarten (ammunition subject? Not yet, of course) and teachers have known me very well.

They even ordered me to be the Authority Head aka president. It doesn't matter to me, kahit ano pang titulo o posisyon ibibigay nila sakin, kaya ko naman. I know the game of this school, and I know how the school's system works.

Additional information about our school uniform, if you're one of the SA Cluster, (similar to a student council) you have to wear the little medallion when wearing the uniform, so the students will identify you as a SAC (Seolli Authorized Cluster) an organization of students who mastered the ammunition subject, or students who have preeminent grades.

Also, under the logo attached on our coat is a wooden pin, where the student's name is carved. While the SAC students also have wooden pins but the our names were colored gold, and our title as a SAC below.

I can still hear whispers and gossips around, especially in this bus. It annoys me, at nakakarindi. But I'm not the kind of person who meddles their amazing talk, or should I say gossip.

"Sasabihin kaya natin sa driver na pababain nalang ito?"

"Nako, 'wag na mare baka gagalawin ka niyan"

Two oldies whispered by the other side, the second row seat near the window to be exact.

"Bro kung palabasin kaya natin 'yan? Narinig ko sa dalawang nanay diyan sa kabila na sasabihin nila sa driver na pababain ito, pero natatakot sila"

"Tanga, narinig mo ba sabi nung isa? 'wag nalang baka galawin' kaya tahimik ka diyan"

"Oo nga, tahimik ka nalang baka galawin tayo dito. Baka 'di tayo makauwi ng buhay"

Three male students also whispered behind the two oldies.

"Hoy ster! Kung bugbogin kaya natin 'yang babae na yan? Para naman makakatikim naman yan ng kamao ko. Kita mo 'tong masels ko? Water!"

"Tanga! Sige. Pero anong water?"

"Bobo mo naman, water sa tagalog ay tubig, then tubig parang too big. Utok brain ster, utok brain! Bogoa sad nimo oy"

I mentally rolled my eyes and giggled the bisaya 'water' guy said.

But my giggle gave them goosebumps, I guess they're thinking that I'm giggling because I have a plan to kill them.

I have reached my destination and checked my belongings if it's still there.

Shoot! I brought a gun with me, good thing it didn't fell from the pocket my coat.

I stood up and faced all the passengers.

"Sorry for scaring you all because of my presence, but please do believe us and our university that we're innocent" I told them and walked towards those guys who planned to 'bugbog' me.

I leaned forward and touched their forehead with my forefinger "'wag mo akong bugbogin dahil baka ikaw yung talo, okay? Kasi kapag ako ang bugbogin mo, yung physical damage mo, water din. Utok brain ster, utok brain" I didn't mean to scare them more, but I was annoyed to the fact na kahit babae ako nilolook down nila ito and they still want to violent woman.

Can people stop thinking about the issue already?
