Leon?
Is he the one Luis told me about?
"Well, I see that the President's equipped his daughter with ballistics too."
Really, Luis?
"How rude! And I don't believe there's any relevance with my figure and my standing. Who are you?" the girl replied.
"Oh oh, excuse me, Your Highness. Perhaps the young lady might want to introduce herself first before asking someone his name?"
I sighed.
"Her name's Ashley Graham, the President's daughter..." She replied.
Ashley Graham, the president's daughter...?
"Is she, you know?" Luis asked.
"Don't worry. She's cool." Another voice I didn't hear before replied.
"Ehm, never mind. There are supposed to be some obvious symptoms before you turn into one of them anyway. "
They're infected?
I slowly smiled as I began to understand why Luis brought me here.
Maybe he thinks I can help these people.
I pouted.
It really isn't my day.
"Look!" The girl yelled.
"Ashley, upstairs!"
"Okay, it's game time. "
The only thing I could hear next were people running and... gunshots.
They really are fighting.
I bit my lip, trying to stay as calm as possible.
Just ignore the noise.
As I sharpened the steel I found earlier, I couldn't bring myself to think about the reason behind this whole situation.
So, why are these people here, in the first place?
I know Luis told me the second person came to rescue her, but...
Maybe she got kidnapped?
I shook my head, knowing it was pointless for me to question it since I knew... nothing.
Suddenly, it became all silent.
They're all dead?
"Looks like they're backing off." The man said.
"So, what do we do now?" the girl asked.
"The bridge I crossed to get here is out, so I guess we have no choice but to keep moving."
The bridge is out?
This means I won't be able to get back to the village, then.
I heard someone coming just above. I felt intensely weird, knowing that right now would be a weird moment to get out, but I quickly dropped the idea when I just understood it was just Luis, who happened to discretely push the table so I could get out right after.
Oh lord, my nerves...
"I forgot something. You guys go on ahead." Luis said.
Wait, he's leaving me here? Alone?
"Luis." The other man said.
But he didn't reply and just left.
I guess I'll have to wait for the strangers to get out of the cabin.
