Outside of a certain building, you can see a woman leaving from the back. Her long hair tied into a low ponytail as it continue with each movement.

(Miria's POV)

Walking out of the building, I quickly merge myself with the crowd like another normal pedestrian. Still being vigilant I looking around for those who might be following me. Of course, this goes unnoticed by the people around.

I still have no idea what the chairman is up to. Although I have been informed in advance, I still have my doubts. From the way he reacted from Tsuzu's interrogation earlier it seems he has no experience in this type of work.

I stood on the sidewalk and quickly signaled a taxi to go home.

Not only that, they even recommended the apartment complex I was residing in. This is too much of a coincidence.

I could only continue to speculate the situation as I looked outside the window. I can't confirm anything yet since I haven't started my investigation on the matter.

Still looking out the window I spotted a nice-looking café with cakes put on display. Today is a week end so a certain someone will be staying at home for today. I think I'll spoil him a bit and get him something to eat. I can't help but smile from the thought.

I quickly informed the taxi driver and I was dropped off near the café I saw earlier.

After a while I finally arrived home. On my left hand, I am carrying a box full of assorted pastries while also carrying a plastic bag with two sealed cups of milkshakes.

I pulled out my keys and opened the door.

"I'm home!"

I announced.......but no one answered.

That's strange. I could have sworn that he'll be relaxing at home today.

I closed the door behind me. I hung my coat on the coat racket on the side of the doorway and walked towards the living room. Everything seems too.......quiet.

The television was off. The sealing fan is still on as it continues to rotate above. Hm? Where could he be?

But then I suddenly sense someone's presence from behind. Sensing the person, I only smirked.

I see now~

They suddenly lunged towards me. But unfortunately for them, I quickly dropped the items on the coffee table, none tumbled over or spilled, and turned around towards them.

The person was caught by surprise as I saw their eyes grew big, but it was too late. They could not stop themselves as they already thrown themselves at me.

Facing towards them. Their attempt of a surprise attack turned into........a hug.

"How's that for a counter." I playfully said, as I giggled towards them.

"Sis! You're suffocating me with your womanly chest!!" Oh dear.

I then readjusted our position a bit so he could breath. Still around my arms is a young teenager with pitch black hair with a few strands framing his handsome sharp face.

Of course to prove that we are siblings we have the same dark pink eyes, but his was on the redder side. Our eye color isn't normal and could give us too much attention, so I would always tell him to wear his contacts to avoid such situations and the worst case scenario.

"And here I thought I could surprise you a bit." He looked up towards me with a disappointed look.

My little brother, Lucian, is now 15 yrs old. He graduated early in middle school and is now in his second year in high school. I heard from his teachers that his doing astoundingly well in school and on the top of his class. With that I could only be more proud of him.
