Chapter 6 (Nice To Meet You!)

"Lowel..." He started, until all of his emotions completely popped. "WHAT IN THE WORLD DID YOU DO TO BE PUT IN THE ELITE SQUAD!!?? " He shouted with surprise as he looked at this new recruit with a new light.

Somewhere, In a certain office

In a large room with classy furniture, sitting in his maroon working desk was a man wearing a grey suit and a red tie. He seems to be around his 30's with his grey hair, with a few of his black hair not affected yet by his age and a goatee on his pointed chin.

The room was dim and the only light source was the blue light from the large aquarium that replaced the entire wall behind him.

The man was scanning the files and papers on his desk as he sat on his chair with a straight back and a noble posture, so when others look at him they would immediately image a noble lion from him.

He was interrupted from his work when he heard the sound of knocking coming from the door.

Knock! knock!

"Come in." he said with his usual deep authorative voice.

His personal assistant then came in the room with a calm expression. He was the same person who gave agent nightwalker the file of the new recruit back in the meeting room.

"Sir Chairman, the new recruit has just arrived and is now being shown around by Agent Young" He respectfully bowed towards the man on the desk and reported as he gave the new recruit's file to the chairman of the agency.

The chairman simply accepted it and started reading the file once more.

The assistant still stood there in the same spot, looking as if he wanted to say something else but was not sure of himself to speak out his own thoughts or not.

The man on the desk, seeing this only stared at him with a questioning glance as he signaled him to speak.

"If, you don't mind me asking sir..... Why did you put Agent Lockwelh in Team Midnight?"

Usually the agency assigned the teams by their skills, abilities and their activities and records before they were recruited.

But we are talking about the ELITE team here! It is not so simple that a new recruit would just join on the first day of work!

All of their members are scouted by their team leader, which was the power that the government gave her when she requested to form her own team.

She scouted them based on their high capabilities and from specific requirements and standards, and because of this she was able to make the strongest and top team in the entire agency.

So, a new recruit joining them that was not picked by the leader is a big deal to them! Of course this will naturally raise people's questions and their own theories on the matter.

The chairman only looked at him for a minute and looked back to the folder on his hand as he said, "You don't need to think too much into it, I just thought with his capabilities, to be able to hack into our government database without a problem he would be more qualified to be part of her team."

His voice was deep and powerful but still said it slowly so his assistant can process his answer.

He looked through Lowel's files as his eyes stopped at his surname and family relations.
