The dragon looked up. Her black scales came from none of the tribes. The closest tribe that would match her would be a NightWing. But she wasn't a NightWing. She looked nothing like a NightWing. She possesses the most powerful magic in Pyhrria. She didn't have teardrop scales. She didn't breathe fire. She didn't have silver scales under her wings. It made no sense. But DarkStalker didn't care. This dragon was helping him. And the first thing he'll do when he gets back is get revenge. This dragon seemed to understand. Not even Clearsight understood. Maybe she can replace Clearsight. DarkStalker shook his head. No, nobody can replace Clearsight.
"It's almost time." The black dragon said.
They were in darkness. Everywhere, all he could see was darkness. Besides the dragon in front of him.
"Soon, you will be free."
DarkStalker looked down at his claws. He growled. He hated that "Kinkajou". Making him half Rainwing? Out of all tribes!
"Your upset."
DarkStalker looked at the dragon. He growled. The dragon seemed amused. "Good, use that anger."
Is she insulting me?
"I have a better plan." DarkStalker said.
The dragon chuckled. "Be careful now, everything is falling into place."
DarkStalker laughed. "Good, good."Chapter 1
Everything was fine. Until Aurora decided to leave and put them all in danger. Now they were in a weird mountain with tons of dragonets. Demon didn't trust them. Not at all. He didn't know why. He just didn't trust them. Any of them. He was in the library. After everyone fell asleep he asked Sunny if she could show him where the library was. Demon looked at the blind librarian. Every dragonet in that prophecy was royalty except for the NightWing and Mudwing. The NightWing also happened to be blind. Demon wanted to growl. The scroll he was reading was new. It was about the past with this dragon named DarkStalker. He had two friends: A Nightwing, and a SeaWing. Clearsight and Fathom. The more he read the angrier he got. The NightWing happened to be evil. Everything bad happens when Nightwings are around. Nightwings also happen to be ruled by a Rainwing.
"Are you ok?"
Demon looked up. There was FateSpeaker. FateSpeaker helped Demon find the library. She also happened to mention there was a library.
"I'm fine." Demon said.
He looked back at the scroll.
"I have no idea how awful it might have been to be living in a cave. Hopefully a mountain is better." FateSpeaker joked. Then she got serious. "Why would a dragon name you Demon? Who named you?"
Demon looked at the purple NightWing.
"I don't know." He said. Demon sighed. FateSpeaker felt sorry for him.
"What if we rename you?" FateSpeaker said.
"You can't rename dragons." Demon said. "Only the parents can, and I need to be young enough to still not know my name."
FateSpeaker thought for a moment. Then she said: "I guess that's true.. but what if we nickname you? You know, like how Moonwatcher likes being called Moon?"
Demon and FateSpeaker looked at each other.
"What should I name you.." FateSpeaker wondered. Demon wanted to correct the "name" part but decided not to.
"How about Friendlyfoe?"
Demon thought she was joking. Friendlyfoe? What kind of name is that?
"Or Fieryfighter, Bloodmaster, Applecore, Secretcloak..."
FateSpeaker wanted to keep suggesting more names but Demon interrupted.
"What about Bloodmoon?" He asked.
FateSpeaker gasped. "That's perfect! Your a dark red and black. It's perfect!" FateSpeaker was very pleased with herself.
"Shh." StarFlight whispered.
The NightWing seemed to know what was going on even though they were out of sight. "Let's make codenames" Fatespeaker whispered.
Demon had no choice but to agree. He wanted to make friends. A friend from his own tribe would be nice. FateSpeaker thought for a moment. "Ooh, call me Joyhopper" Fatespeaker said. Joyhopper sounded like a Rainwing name. But he didn't argue. Demon saw a black dragon run past the library out of the corner of his eye.
"I have to go." Demon got up.
He picked up the scroll and went after the dragon.
"Huh?" FateSpeaker looked at the exit confused.
Demon tried to follow the black dragon. It wasn't a NightWing, that's for sure. The dragon slipped behind the academy. When Demon tried to follow it he saw Aurora. She was humming softly to herself. Demon loved that about her. She was always so calm and friendly. Demon followed the dragon behind the academy. But when he reached it, everything went back.
