Chapter 7

No one's P.O.V

"He had Sera suspended for a month, she endured a life she never deserved for over a month so I took a month to destroy his hierarchy."

Everyone was silence , no one knew how to respond.

Sera just say outside the door processing what was just said , John had done all of this for her , he hunted down everyone  that hurt her and punished them because he couldn't protect her. But why?,Why go after Remi ,Blyke and Isen ? They didn't hurt her .

"So anymore question's or are you satisfied now."  John asked

"I still got questions , Why did you hide your ability?" Remi asked
"I know I'm crossing a line but if you didn't want to be apart of the hierarchy you could have said you were a mid tier  and just be another face in the crowd why choose to be a cripple, What happened in New Bostin exactly and why did you get expelled? I want to move about what made you this way".

Everyone in the room focused on Remi and John waiting to see what happens.

"You know ,I answered the earlier question because, I felt I owned you a proper explanation for why I did what I did but these questions are personal if you want answers to these questions your going have to give me something to show me that you deserve to know" . John replied coldly.

"What do you want John ?" Remi asked John nervously.
"A secret something that only the people here can verify something that nobody else in the school is aware of , something that you can never take back once you said it ". John said

"Remi don't tell him anything we got enough out of him , we don't need anymore." Blyke said .

"It's Remi choice Blyke ". Isen said "You know how stubborn she is once she makes a choice she sticks to it ".

"It's fine Blyke he's shared much with us it's only fair we do the same." Remi responded ."My brother Rei pasted away about a few months ago , What people didn't know was that he was a vigilante he was X-static ,he was murdered by EMBER , the Authorities said they would investigate but they didn't do anything , so I became a vigilante to to Avenge his death to find some closure ."

" I'm sorry for what I said two days ago. " John said hanging head down in shame.

"Don't apologize if you don't mean it ." Remi said quoting John words back at him .

"I might be a dick , Remi" John replied "But no one should speak ill  of the dead" .

"Alright ,I'll tell you my tale just bare with because I haven't told anyone about this and it's long , it all started around kindergarten when everyone's powers manifested mine didn't, as you can imagine I got bullied heavily .There was hardly a day in my life I didn't get bullied , when I started middle school I got beaten up in my first day there just because my ability didn't manifest , I always wondered why do they do that I couldn't hurt them ".

"Why do they insult me?"
"Why do they act the way they do just over a little bit of power ?"
"Why is this world so fucking unfair?"

"Then 'she' appeared , that fucking snake came she offered her hand and I took it , I thought she did it out of kindness but it wasn't, her power is a lot like Juni power she can glimpse into the future , she saw me rise to the top become the king of New Boston and she thought that if she befriended me when I was at my weakest so she could control me and rule from the shadows .Me, her and my oldest friend Adrion were beaten everyday threw out middle school just because we were low-tiers .Adrion was a little better off  because his ability was combat related . The sad part was they didn't question it they just accepted it like it's normal to be beaten up , I reject that even back then ,then one day during my third year of middle school I was cornered and had to fight , I manifest my power it was weak at the time but I finally gained one , all according to her plan".John said .

Everyone was in shock they didn't believe that John was actually that weak in the past after all he had beaten them single handedly in more ways than one.

"I can confirm that his file did say in middle school he had a level of 1 with no signs of improvement ." Isen said confirming John's story

"When high school started , I started to improve more with my ability I rarely lose a fight , my friends were protected, I was ok but one day one of my old bullies attacked us I beat him effortlessly , at first  he was shocked at the fact I was stronger 
then he insulted me called me a fraud said to him I would always be a cripple , something in me snapped I beat him to the point were he was just a helpless meatsack , a teacher had to physically drag me off him from then onwards I dedicated everything to be more powerful to hurt those who hurt me to make them hurt as much as they hurt me , so I studied every bit of information on Aura , every book ever written , every research paper documented , attending lectures on the topic , I  watched past battles to learn how to apply the powers, I even had help from my future self courtesy of the snake . You probably won't find anyone in all of Wellston that is well versed in Auraology more than me . Anyway it was around this time I started going of the rails but I didn't care , all that mattered was power , eventually I decided to become a royal , I challenged the king and I lost at the time I was an elite so was he, he swore that I would never get the throne as long as he was there by the end of my first year at New Boston high , I never beat him. Come my second year the snake had a vision about my latest skill with my power amplifying copied abilities so I trained harder than I did before by the time it was April  I had mastered amplifying abilities , I challenged the king one last time except this time I came out on top , I was crowned king  I thought that they would finally start treating me like a person but no the insults got worse they just do it behind my back now ".
