When the school bell rang, it was only a few seconds before pupils from all sides streamed out of the classrooms and filled the corridors. As best she could, Josie tried to push her way past between her classmates to quickly go back to her room to get her homework for the next subject before the start of the following lesson. Just when she had managed to escape the stream of students that was consistently moving in the direction she didn't want to go, she heard a voice that made her stop: "Josie?"
She let her gaze wander and after a few seconds she spotted Hope leaning against the wall in a corner and not really in a hurry herself. Instead, she had put her eyes on the siphon and waved her over to her.
Josie hesitated for a moment, since she didn't need any disturbance at that moment, but then moved towards Hope. At least it could be that Hope had forgotten to tell her something about her plan or that there was a problem. Therefore she could not ignore the other girl and stopped in front of her after a few steps.
"Hey", she greeted Hope in a slightly lowered voice: "What's wrong? Is there a change of plans?"
For a moment she even worried that Hope might have changed her mind there and for some reason suddenly not want to help her anymore.
"Hey", as Josie moved towards her, a smile appeared on her lips, but when she asked her questions, she answered with a shake of her head: "No, don't worry. There's nothing wrong with the plan and we can still go ahead with it."Josie could not help but take a deep breath. In the past, she never thought she would ever be so happy to spend time with Hope Mikaelson and get her help. In the meantime, however, things had changed between them and Josie's distrust of her had become trust. After all, it was Hope who had confided a problem to her that neither her father nor her twin knew anything about. Even though it was more her distress and her suspicion that Hope might be to blame than the fact that Hope was the person in the world she trusted most.
"Then what is it?" she asked further, as she could not imagine what else might have been the reason for her wanting to talk to her.
"I was wondering if you could meet me at the Mystic Falls Cemetery after school today," Hope said, brushing a strand of her light brown hair away from her face.Josie didn't object to a meeting in itself, but the fact that the cemetery was Hope's place of choice made her a little suspicious. It didn't seem to be about her plan. So what could they want there? Their request aroused a slight suspicion and curiosity in Josie as well. The latter of the two, however, was much stronger, so she nodded: "Sure, why not?"
"Thank you", Hope's smile widened. For a moment she had doubted that Josie would agree. After all, Hope had not told her why they should meet there of all places and what it was all about.
"Was that all? I'll just have to go upstairs and get something," Josie nodded in the direction of the landing from which they were only a few meters away.
"Yes, that's all," Hope nodded and watched Josie rush towards the stairs, disappearing after a few seconds. It was hard for her to tell if Josie would be angry about the reason Hope asked her to go to the cemetery or not.
