"I feel so sad, Mom."
She was broken and gone, how could she ever overcome what she have done? Her stupid feelings and her oblivious eyes, her mind who took over everything, even her own heart.
She stared at the mirror, but not even her reflection could stare back at her. Her tears are invisible to others but her. Words that pinned her confidence down, rumors that made her change who she really is. Swallowed by the insults, she slowly drowned in the deepest part of her thoughts.
What could've gone wrong?
Was being herself never enough? The world is a confusing place, the people are judgmental creatures. Be yourself and they put you down, put a mask and they'll try to take it off. Have confidence and they'll break it, have none and they'll laugh at it.
So what's the right and what's the wrong?
Who am I and who are you?
"I feel so lost, Mom."
