This chapter will be a continuation of first day of school from the last chapter.Hope you all like it!
Bell rings.
I wait at the end of the class with Jayden as Riley speaks to our business teacher, Ms Bailey.
Ugh, now this is being a suck up.
Riley is kinda on top of her game right now, she is the most confident person ever, has a structure of her life planned out and carries a huge personality in the best way possible. She has so much courage and always encourages each one of us to believe in our selves, she's always making us do crazy stuff with her. She's like that powerhouse but sensible and wise, her personality matches with no other.
School is very important to her, she takes her reputation and grades very seriously so it's like her job to make sure she's not falling behind, like what she's doing with Ms Bailey at the moment. She's going in the business direction and oh is she spectacular at it. That's why we have most of our classes together, since I'm on the Business and English road. Riley wasn't at Eco class since she's more finance but she does a little bit of everything.
We all are talented in our own ways, everyone has a special skill, activity or hobby if you wanna call it that.
Riley has dance. She's the captain of the cheerleading team and they won every competition, thanks to Riley. She's not only a cheer dancer but she has training in all different genres and use to be a competitive dancers but then school got serious and she had to tone it down a notch with all the dancing. So she found cheerleading at since we don't really have a dancing club or team at our school.
Have I mentioned she's beautiful, she has these hazelnut caramel-ish eyes that you can't stop staring at and it complements a lot with her dark pitch black smooth longer than shoulder length hair. She is around 5'7 and has impeccable taste in everything especially men. She is dating one of our best friends in our group, Liam. He's around 5'9 with honey blonde straight hair placed upwards not blocking his icy blue eyes.
Riley FINALY walks her way to me and Jayden and we make our path to the cafeteria.
"There they are" I inform Riley and Jayden as I point to the direction of Liam and Emma sharing notes on our table outside the school cafeteria.
"Hey nerds" Jayden teases as we take our places on the rectangular shaped table.
Riley takes her seat beside Liam and Emma ( making Liam be In between them) on the opposite side of Jayden who sits next to me.
"Hey jock" Emma teases back.
"How you feelin?" Liam asks me.
"Neutral" I lie and notice him let a slight chuckle and drop the topic knowing that I don't want to talk about it.
That is why i love him.
Liam is Liam, sweet, sensitive, smart and observant. He's into science and just like Riley he cares all about school and his grades but other than that he is in the track team, the best actually, he's been a loyal team member for a long time now.
I'm having a good time just chatting with my friends, catching up on a shocking summer we've had and BOOM my ignorant self observed small minded twin brother scoots right next to me eyeing my food.
We all stop and stare at him concerned, not me, I'm rlly not that concerned I'm just questioning why he is looking at my food.
"What" I ask the clueless idiot.
"I'm hungrey" he pointlessly informs me.
"That doesn't answer my question, what do you want? why are you here?"
He looks at me then back at my food and takes ANOTHER BITE OF MY HOMEMADE DELICIOUS SCRUMPTIOUS PIZZA and casually walks away acting like he hasn't just COMMITTED 2 CRIMES TODAY.
There's silence in our table until one of them chuckles and eventually all of them burst of laughter.
"Second time today" Emma chuckles.
"He is not gonna go away with that" I scoff.
"Oh your brother reminds me about something I've been meaning to give to you" Liam speaks while picking up a cardboard square shaped box from below the table and continues "my mom promised to fix them up for you" Liam slides the box over to me.
I slowly pause.
I turn the box facing me and breathe.
I open it and find a bunch of pictures just like Liam's mom promised.
"You don't look neutral" Riley says giving me a caring smile.
The truth is I'm not, looking at 'her' pictures are reminding me of old times, times this horrible summer took away, why did everything have to pass by so fast.
"Don't worry about it, it's nothing" I drop the topic then look at Liam " thanks for this" I face back to everyone "well I would love to talk more but I've gotta go prepare for FLFA" I speak.
"Take your time, I'll see you after school" Emma kindly speaks. I give them a small smile and place my bag on my shoulder, grab the box and walk away.
FLFA stands for Free Lessons For Activities.
Another weird type of lesson my school has. In this school, if you have any extra circular except dance and singing you are supposed to spend your time during this lesson for that particular activity, dancing and singing is for after school.Riley has the student council, Jayden has his basketball team, Liam has track, Emma doesn't have any extra activities so she spends her time at the library.
For my FLFA I have my newspaper club, Wall Street journal.
This club has kind of a weird system, there is not team, no club, just me. Not because I'm a loner but because our system works differently. I'm the writer, producer and editor in chief of the newspaper so whoever wants to write something for the schools newspaper will have to go through it with me but when that's not the issue I write what the school needs to hear myself.I enter the cute sized room for the newspaper club but also has archive on the school history. I drop the box right next to the door, walk over to my desk and fall on my chair, place my bag on floor and drink my icy cold light iced pink drink from Starbucks.
Unexpectedly the door slams open and I don't believe for a second the face I see.
I didn't want to make this chapter that long as well so I had to leave it here. A few more chapters might be the continuation of the first day since there's so much to share. I hope you enjoy this chapter I wrote🌹I would really appreciate if you vote💙
