Chapter 28

                       2 years later

These last few years have been the best part of my life so far. Molly and I's relationship in beyond perfect, we never fight or argue, we always help eachother when we need it, and we are both the happiest either of us have ever been.

I am taking Molly to dinner tonight, but it's not going to be just a regular date. I called Calumn and asked him to help. He said that he would, we are going to go to the location this afternoon to set up and get everything ready for tonight.

Everything has to be perfect. I will make sure everything is perfect for my girl. She deserves the best, and I will make sure that she gets it.

My thoughts are interrupted when I feel a weight on my shoulder. I look down to see Molly tucked up against me with her head on my shoulder. She smiles up at me, 'I didn't think you would ever notice I was here.' She laughs and sits up. 'What were you thinking about?' She asks concerning.

''Nothing much, just thinking of you.'' I technically didn't lie. She still keeps her smile, and for that, I am thankful.
I want to ask her out, but after Calumn and I set up for it. ''Want to watch a movie?'' I ask her, she nods her head. ''What do you want to watch?'' She shrugs, ''It doesn't matter to me.'' I nod, and get up to pick out a movie.

''How about....Suicide Squad?'' She nods her head rapidly and smiles. ''You know that's one of my favorites.'' I laugh, ''that's why I picked it.''

I put in the movie and go sit down beside Molly. She lays down and puts her head on my lap. By then, the movie had started. I heard her laugh at times, and so did I. But, I wasn't really focused on the movie. What i was focused on, was Molly. If she says yes, we will be married in just a few short months. And our future, I can't wait to call her my wife, and have our kids running around the house. We will be the perfect family. I just know it.

Soon the movie ends, Molly is asleep. It's 1:30, shit I have to meet Calumn at 2:15. I hate to do it, but I have to wake her up.

I tap on her shoulder, ''Molly.'' I say, ''Molly.'' I say a little louder and she wakes up. Her tired eyes look up at me, ''I have to go help Calumn with something. I'll be back in a few hours.'' She nods, I pick her up and bring her to our bedroom. By the time I get up the stairs, she is asleep in my arms.

I gently set her down on the bed, and put the blankets over top of her. I smile, and kiss her forehead. Then I go into the closet and get changed. After I get ready, I go down stairs, get my keys, and walk out of the door. I get into my car and start driving.

I get to the location after around 25 minutes. Calumn isn't quite here yet, so I wait for him.

                   10 minutes later

I'm leaning against my car when I hear the roar of an engine, and immediately known it's Calumn's car. He pulls up right beside me and gets out of the car in a rush. ''Sorry I'm late, traffic was a bitch today.'' He says and I laugh, 'Its fine, I get it.'  

''Ready to start setting up?'' He asks.

''Yeah, let's do it.'' I say.

We start setting up, and after a while Calumn speaks up. ''So, you gonna tell me what we are setting up for?'' He says and hands me the lights. I pause and suck in a breath, ''I'm proposing to her tonight.'' I say, he gasps. ''I knew it, I knew this day would come!'' He yells, and jumps around in a circle.

It truly was one of the funniest sights. Seeing a 6'5, grown man, with a bunch of tattoos, jumping around and cheering like a five year old girl.

I roll my eyes and laugh at him. ''Come on you big oaf, help me finish setting this up.'' I say, he stops and scoffs. ''Buzz kill,'' he mutters. I laugh and roll my eyes again. I swear, he may be 22 years old and a grown man, but he acts like a child sometimes.
