Chapter 2

Gundham didn't know what to wear.He wanted to be formal, but not too formal.But at the same time he wanted to be causal,but not too casual.He also wanted to show a bit of himself in what he wore.Gundham never really liked all this fancy stuff anyway.He wanted to impress Sonia so badly but he didn't know what to wear.Then suddenly there was a knock on his door.

Gundham opened the door.He saw a woman with short,pale mauve hair.It was slightly curled outwards."Hello,I am Chiaki Nanami.I was told to aid you in picking out what to wear for tonight's dinner." Gundham was shocked.What is she? A mind-reader? "And no,I'm not a mind-reader.Hajime thought you would have trouble so he got me to help." She added with her monotone voice.Am I really that predictable? She walked into Gundham's room and immediately went to his wardrobe.She began to look through his wardrobe and pulled out an outfit.It was a white shirt with a magenta belt and jeans.She then pointed to his magenta scarf."If you add the scarf, you get an outfit."She began to head out the door.Before she left,she pointed to the clock,"You have 30 minutes,get ready soon." she left.

Gundham headed down the stairs to see Chiaki,Hajime,Ibuki,three more girls and two other men.Ibuki was in a fancy jester's outfit and another female dressed up in a white clean dress were talking.The girl Ibuki was talking with looked like she had just came from a hostpital.Chiaki and Hajime were holding hands.The two other men were talking amongst themselves.Both were dressed almost exactly like Gundham just with different colors and no scarf.Instead one was wearing a matching eyepatch and the other had no other accessories.The other two women were also talking amongst each other.One was wearing a traditional Japanese kimono and the other was just wearing a casual dress.

Hajime noticed Gundham and Gundham just walked to Hajime. "Would you like me to introduce everyone?" Hajime asked politely. Gundham nodded his head. " The girl with Ibuki is Mikan Tsumuki, the head nurse.The two men over there is Nekomaru Nidai and Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu, the head generals of our army.The two girls chatting with eachother are Hiyoko Saionji, the head of organizing the balls, and Mahiru Koizumi, the head of messaging and delivery.There are supposed to be two other guests but they are in the kitchen currently.Teruteru Hanamura, the royal chef and Akane Owari, the royal taste-tester."

Then suddenly the lights went off. There was a spotlight on the staircase."The Queen of Novoselic has arrived to her dinner.Everyone take a seat at the table."Peko's monotone voice was heard all over the dining room. Everyone sat down where their name was.Gundham saw that he was seated next to Sonia. He couldn't help but blush.When everyone sat down, they all looked up at the spotlight.There was Sonia in a dress that looked like an upside down rose.She looked like an perfect angel from heaven's gates. Gundham saw that Fuyuhiko was staring at something near Sonia.Gundham assumed it was Sonia.He felt enraged.Then he realized that Peko was right next to Sonia and that Fuyuhiko was staring at Peko.

As Sonia sat down next to him, her words faded out from his ears.His eyes were just focused on her."Um Gundham are you ok?You haven't been paying attention to what I'm saying." He finally heard Sonia say.A confused look on her face.Gundham finally snapped out of his daze. "I'm sorry Sonia,I just zoned out. What were you asking me?"Sonia just giggled." I was just asking about your hobbies or interests .I want to learn more about you,Gundham!" Gundham just blushed slightly. " Well, As a breeder, I'm interested in animals.As a lord of darkness, I am intersted in the dark arts and rituals.But I'm not sure a majestic queen like you is interested in such things." He then looked over to see an amazed expression on Sonia's face.

" You like the dark arts,too?!" she asked in a amazed tone.Too? What does that mean? Sonia exclaimed," I myself are particularly interested in the dark arts as well." Sonia leaned towards Gundham's face.Their faces were only inches away from touching. "Well that's interesting to hear, my dark queen." Sonia leaned back,blushing. Then before Sonia could talk more with Gundham, a door leading to the kitchen had swung open.There was two people and a rolling table.One was short,round,and was obviously TeruTeru.The other was holding two pieces of meat on a bone,who was probably Akane.They came rolling in.

"Dinner is served! Everyone grab a plate and dig right in!" said Akane, her mouth full.They all stood up and grabbed something to eat.When Sonia was in the middle of her meal, TeruTeru stopped her, "Do you like your meal? If not I could get you something juicy and tender tonight." TeruTeru had a small smirk in his face.Sonia obviously uncomfortable just declined TeruTeru's offer.Gundham and Peko just glared at him.TeruTeru nervously just walked away.

After the party,Gundham was in his room.Him and Sonia had talked all night about the dark arts.They had gotten closer.Gundham just lied there on his bed.He looked at his resting hamsters.Did Sonia put a spell on me?Gundham kept thinking about their time together.I mean this isn't so bad.Gundham just fell asleep.
