Sophie's POV It was the day before my party and to say I was excited is an understatement I couldn't wait to just really be a teen for a whole day Biana had everything set for the party her lihn and marella had already gotten their dresses and it was supposed to be casual but also cute semi formal so the boys would probably wear jeans and nice tunics. Biana wanted me to come to her house early to get ready so I could go and get my nails done with the girls and so we could get ready for the boys we were all super excited but I was over the moon I was so lost in thought about the party I didn't hear Keefe come in until he started to play with my hair at first I was startled because it was only 10:00 am but the I remembered he said he wanted to give me an early birthday gift

I looked in the mirror to get a better look it was so simple but meaningful just how he knows I like things I felt my eyes water and then two strong arms hug me from behind
I am not getting upset emotions so why are you crying foster

With that he gave me a smirk and sweet kiss it only ended because we heard a soft knock
"May I come in Sophie" I heard my adoptive mom say

"That's a beautiful necklace Keefe where did you get it and why might I ask"
Oh I made the necklace lady rowan and I got it for Sophie as an anniversary gift
I was glad he just said an anniversary gift because I knew edaline would be suspicious about me and all my friends hanging out tomorrow if she knew it was my birthday and awww he said he made it. with that I gave him a tight hug and whispered thank you in his ear
"Well I just wanted to let you know I made some mallowmelt if your hungry oh and Keefe just call me edaline you are family" she said with a motherly smile

I could almost see the happiness beaming off of Keefe I was so happy that our relationship was perfect and nothing could ever change
I heard my stomach growl and I heard Keefe laughing as my face started to heat up

After we had our snack we walked around haven field for a few hours just talking then the sun began to set and he had to go home I was sad he had to leave but remembered that tomorrow was going to be the best day ever
