　Feeling like a cold surface on his face, he found himself lying down.

　My whole body is gradually becoming weaker and I'm already at the point where I feel the numbness down beneath my torso.

　However, the heat is now coming to my senses and it's making me feel very nauseous while at the same time I'm trying to recuperate from the incoming illnesses.

　--Oi, oi, oi, oi ,oi ,oi ,oi!

　The next moment I opened my mouth to scream, it was not a scream, but a blood clot.

　Cough up and exhale to your heart's content, the source of life that lifts from your throat. Bloody vomit, and bloody bubbles that form at the surrounding edges of the mouth. In the distant view, you can vaguely see the ground stained bright red.

　The body quivers a little by taking on the last action from the vanishing consciousness.

　In front of him, black shoes trampled on the floor covered with a carpet of fresh blood, creating hamon-like ripples.

　There is someone. And probably someone who offed oneself.

　Strangely, I didn't feel the need to think about the other person.

　I do remember being opportunistic enough to take advantage of a young bystander, but to take it far enough as to where someone would be willingly to kill me, even to such a degree, my brazen heart shouldn't be interested in the slightest about such as the person's surname.

But why out of all times now am I thinking about this other person.

　I believe I heard a voice.

　Since I wouldn't know whether my ears were even listening at this point, I'm more likely to think that I was just hearing things.

　Even so, even if I relied on my memory to recreate it, the voice was somehow comfortable.

"-!"

　A short scream later and the blood carpet welcomes a new guest.

　The collapsed body was right beside him, and there was his arm stretched loosely.

　The white hand that has fallen forcefully and my bloody hand are entwined.

　Everything must have been a dream.

　I felt the slight twitch of my fingertips, which moved slightly, held my hand back.

"... leave"

　Grasping at the neck of the consciousness to get up, attempting to forcibly turn around and run away.

　The chances of "Escape" and "Survival" are all gone now, and all that is left is nothing more than a struggling, corpse-like body still clinging onto one's "soul" as his only hope.
