"We're really honored to have you here Mr.Walker."Helen Keegan said,"I've told you a million times Helen,you can call me Paul:Mr.Walker is my father."i said."Right,right."she said,"Ms.Keegan!Ms.Keegan!"a kid ran towards us."What is it James?"she asked worryingly,"Logan is picking a fight with Spirit again!"he said."Not again."she said disappointingly,I decided follow her outside.two kids were really fighting!Logan pulled Spirit's hair,she then bit his hand.
"That's enough you two!"Helen separated,"He started it!"Spirit began to protest."Go to your bunk Logan,"Helen said to Logan,he walked inside."Spirit we have talked about this several times-"Spirit cut her off,"he was calling Jonesy names!"she said."At this rate you'll never get adopted Spirit!"Helen said sadly,Spirit looked down."go to your bunk and think about what you've done."she said,Spirit slowly walked inside.i watched her walk down the hall,"Helen,I want to know more about Spirit."I said."Really?are you sure?"she asked,"I'm positive."I said.
Spirit's pov
I sadly sat near the window,tears streamed down my cheeks."Spirit!Spirit!"Gus said,I wiped my tears."Go away Gus."i said,"But Spirit!you're getting adopted!"he said.i widened my eyes and turned around,"Really?"I asked."Yeah!"he said,I began to cheer and jump around."Ms.Keegan wanted me to tell you to start packing your stuff."he said,i nodded.i quickly ran downstairs,Jonesy was reading a book.he looked sad,I stopped running."Congrats Spirit."he said,I sat beside him.
"Hey,just cause I'm getting adopted...doesn't mean I won't stop being your friend."I told him,he looked at me.i hugged him tightly,he hugged me back."Goodbye Spirit."he said,"Bye Jonesy."i said.i then left the room and walked back upstairs,I began to pack everything I owned.
