A/N
When I was planning this fic I at first wanted Spirit's name to be Siren but then I wasn't so sure,maybe I'll use that name next time for another adopted by fanfic

Spirit's pov
After going to work with Paul for sometime it was time for me finally to go to school.i gulped as Paul handed me my lunchbox,"Promise me you'll pick me up after school?"I asked him.he hugged me,"I promise Spirit."he said,I hugged him back."Hi Spirit,I'm your teacher Ms.Hope."a lady said,"Hi."i said."Why don't you come inside?"she said,she held my hand and led me inside.i turned my head and looked at Paul,he waved at me.

"You're going to love school Spirit,I promise."she said as she led me inside the classroom,I saw a bunch of kids drawing and playing."class!we have a new student joining us today."Ms.Hope got everyone's attention,everyone looked at me.i gulped and fiddled with the handle of my lunch box,"This is Spirit Walker."Ms.Hope introduced me to the class.She then looked at me,"Spirit why don't you go put your jacket and lunchbox in the green cubby?"she said.i nodded,I walked to the cubbies.

Everyone continued to draw and play,after I put my stuff away Ms.Hope assigned me to a table with 3 kids:2 boys and a girl.i placed my backpack beside my chair,"why is your name Spirit?"one of the boys said."I don't know."I answered,"Well I think it's a nice name."the girl said.i smiled,"I'm Chrissy,this is Heath and Ike."she introduced herself and the boys.

After school...

Paul's pov
I waited outside for Spirit,some kids were already running outside the school and into their parents arms."Paul!"I heard Spirit say,she ran towards my arms and hugged me.i hugged her back,"I missed you."she said."Me too Spirit."i said,"I made some friends today!"she said as we walked to the car.
