Boruto was currently standing in front of his father, shaking as tears fell down his face. He could hear his heart beat picking up.
"D-dad... I-"
He was cut of by a loud slap.
"I am sick and tired of you. You have crossed a line. I have given you many chances, you are an arrogant and selfish brat. This is unacceptable."
Boruto could feel the heat that radiated off of his left cheek. He was filled with sadness and a deep hatred. His fathers words had stung worse than the slap.
"You know what. I hate you, you were never there for me. This is all your fault. All I wanted was to get stronger... I wanted to make you proud".
Boruto heard all the gasps from the crowd. He felt embarrassed. He decided he was leaving. He is tired of looking for his fathers attention.
Boruto than did the only thing that his mind can register. He ran. He had run home and sobbed into his sheets. He cried until he had no more tears left.
That night, Boruto decided to pack up clothing that would last him a week and he left. He jumped out into the night. And left the village.
