Chapter 4

•Alejandro's pov •

I sit in my room and look at it one last time before I get the rest of my stuff out of there and put it in the back of my mom's car.

She drives me across the town to a rich uppity neighborhood. I'm gonna miss my neighborhood. I know its loco I won't be living there anymore. {Translation: Crazy}

I get to the house and I get all my stuff. Well, the stuff I brought. Clothes, my cards, cigarettes, socks, etc. It's not a lot of stuff.

I set it down and knock. Nobody answers so I knock again and again and again. 

Yeah, patience isn't in my vocabulary. It has never been. Ever since my father- 

Just then the door slings open and there stands a girl I did not expect to see. A girl that I ignored the rest of the week and didn't wanna see at all. I wouldn't care if she jumped off a two million foot building and died.

"What are you doing here?" She asks rudely rolling her eyes.

"Um- what does it look like?" I ask her imitating her and rolling my eyes. She glares at me.

"Well, come in asshole." She says. I grab my stuff and walk in the house. "My parents will be back in a couple minutes. Make your self at home." She says as she disappears upstairs. I sit on the couch and look around.

Then the door opens and in walks a couple and a younger boy. The boy is from the diner. I seen him that day when the first moved here.

"Oh, you're here." Says the woman that looks exactly like Madeline they could be twins.

"Yeah." I say uncomfortably as I stand up.

"Come on. I'll show you your room." She says and I grab my stuff and follow her upstairs. She opens a door right across a room that has a sign that says Maddie F. on it. I'm guessing Madeline.

I walk in my room and set down my stuff. I turn to look at the woman and give her a weak smile because I did not wanna be here.

"Well, if you need anything i'll be in the kitchen baking cookies." She says and walks out and shuts the door and I lay on the bed staring up at the ceiling.

Maybe one day I'll be able to get away from this shit hole of a town. 

I open one of my suitcases and pull out a cigarette and light it. I go and open up the window and pull a chair up to it and smoke it.

I can see a full view of the backyard. 

I look down and there was a pull down there. I mean at least they have an actual pool. When I was younger I had to play under a waterhose with Marco. We didn't have enough money for a pool and we still don't.

I see Madeline walk out the back door with a bathing suit on and damn did she look- what are you thinking Alex? She looks up at me using her hands to block the sun.

I put out my cigarette and close my window and I walk out my room and go to the bathroom and get in the shower.

•Madeline's pov•

I can't believe I have to live with this cow. Mother said he was good looking. He is no where near good looking. Mother has bad eyesight.

I see him looking at me from his window. I was about to get in the pool. It was warm out today. I had on a bathing suit.

I look up at him using my hands to block the sun. He puts out his cigarette and then closes his window and walks away.

Rude. I don't even know why he has to live with us. Can't he find someone else to live with?

I get in the pool and float.

I hope Marco gets better but Marco is Alejandro's best friend.

I walk into the kitchen after getting out of the shower. I see Alex sitting on the counter and I gasp. "You scared me." I say.

"Eres un pesado." He says rolling his eyes and scoffing. {Translation: You're annoying}

"I don't speak spanish dimwit." I say to him. He hops off the counter and walks over to me and leans in.

"Stay away from me." He says and walks out the kitchen.

But this is my house. What does he want me to do? I'm gonna be everywhere except his room and the bathroom when he's in it.

I don't even know what I did to make him mad. 

Maybe it's because I'm hanging out with Marco.

Should I do a story cast? I'm gonna put spooky from 'On my block' as Alejandro but in this story he's gonna have dark black luscious hair.

Just so you know I am a 12 year old girl turning 13 in a month. June 28th baby.
